Biography
LORE SNIPPET: Magic is Nasty Business ft Cyan
BORN DURING THE SUPER BLUE BLOOD MOON HOLY COW WHAT IS THIS CHILD?
...Ok so his name is Capone because of Al Capone, otherwise known as Scarface. He's a really REALLY famous gangster and I've been to Alcatraz (where he spent about 4 1/2 years) and it was awesome ;v; A Tundra suits him cos he's chubby. His voice is like Don Bot from Futurama cx
That's the reason why he has stained. He's an Old-Timey Gangster it's great :D
THEME: Mack the Knife- Bobby Darin
“Don’t mistake my kindness for weakness. I am kind to everyone, but when someone is unkind to me, weak is not what you are going to remember about me.”
Capone is a businessman. Well...a business dragon. He gets stuff done, he's a good organiser, he's friendly enough (if you don't cross him), and he dabbles in the criminal underworld. You need a hookup for food stores? He's your dragon. His real speciality is bootlegging though (clothing and items especially) and he does some favours for people in exchange for loyalty and repayment. Woe betide those who are not as generous in returning favours as he is. Capone does NOT suffer fools easily.
You can expect to see him at a lot of Charoite's bouts, sometimes betting against the Wildclaw if the mood strikes him. He also considers Brisby a poser, since she's 'stealing his look but not committing to the way of life'. There are many rumours circulating in the Lair of Many References regarding Capone, since no one is sure how he got his scar. He doesn't tell anyone about it either. One thing's for certain though, he hates magic because of it. Sure, he'll allow it in his business if it benefits him but he doesn't personally go in for that mumbo jumbo.
Capone is skeptical towards the old tales of Alduin. In this gangster's opinion, if anyone's gonna have a future as the head of this Lair, it's not gonna be some psycho with a silver tongue. He's territorial like that. Capone also knows full well he can rally support against the Guardian too should Alduin attempt a coup. After all, he’s already buddies in the Sunbeam Ruins with an Imperial named Sandy and a wannabe Spiral named Costello. It's just a matter of building up networks and biding his time until the progens skedaddle to Glademama. And Capone is very, very patient.
Oh, and recently he's acquired a little 'hired muscle' too. Well...he's had it stolen from the the Rainsong Jungle and broken in by some very unfortunate lackeys. The Overcharged Silverbeast is a ruthless, bloodthirsty creature that answers to the name of Jimmy. Of course, it only really pays attention to Capone. After all, the tundra may not have trained it, but he commands absolute obedience all the same. Jimmy gets treated better than some of the others however, leading many to become quite jealous of the Boss' Number One. That being said...no-one likes to be told to 'feed Jimmy'.

Alphonse Gabriel Capone (/ˈæl kəˈpoʊn/; Italian: [kaˈpone]; January 17, 1899 – January 25, 1947), sometimes known by the nickname "Scarface", was an American mobster, crime boss, and businessman who attained notoriety during the Prohibition era as the co-founder and boss of the Chicago Outfit. His seven-year reign as crime boss ended when he was 33. Capone was born in Brooklyn, New York City, to Italian immigrants. He was a Five Points Gang member who became a bouncer in organized crime premises such as brothels. In his early twenties, he moved to Chicago and became a bodyguard and trusted factotum for Johnny Torrio, head of a criminal syndicate that illegally supplied alcohol—the forerunner of the Outfit—and was politically protected through the Unione Siciliana. A conflict with the North Side Gang was instrumental in Capone's rise and fall. Torrio went into retirement after North Side gunmen almost killed him, handing control to Capone. Capone expanded the bootlegging business through increasingly violent means, but his mutually profitable relationships with mayor William Hale Thompson and the city's police meant he seemed safe from law enforcement. Capone apparently reveled in attention, such as the cheers from spectators when he appeared at ball games. He made donations to various charities and was viewed by many as "modern-day Robin Hood". However, the Saint Valentine's Day Massacre, in which seven gang rivals were murdered in broad daylight, damaged Chicago's and Capone's image, leading influential citizens to demand government action and newspapers to dub Capone "Public Enemy No. 1". The federal authorities became intent on jailing Capone and prosecuted him in 1931 for tax evasion, which was at that time a federal crime and a novel strategy. During a highly publicized case, the judge admitted as evidence Capone's admissions of his income and unpaid taxes during prior (and ultimately abortive) negotiations to pay the government taxes he owed. He was convicted and sentenced to 11 years in federal prison. |
After conviction, he replaced his defense team with experts in tax law, and his grounds for appeal were strengthened by a Supreme Court ruling, but his appeal ultimately failed. Capone showed signs of syphilitic dementia early in his sentence and became increasingly debilitated before being released after eight years of incarceration. On January 25, 1947, Capone died of cardiac arrest after suffering a stroke. In 1917, Capone’s face was slashed during a fight at the Harvard Inn, after he insulted a female patron and her brother retaliated, leaving him with three indelible scars. Capone would attempt to shield the scarred side of his face in photographs, and tried to write them off as war wounds—although he never served in the military. After achieving prominence as a gangster, Capone was dubbed Scarface by the press, a nickname he intensely disliked. Criminal associates referred to the mob boss as the Big Fellow, while friends knew him as Snorky, a slang term that meant spiffy. |
