Super blue blood moon

Starsong was born on the night of a Super Blue Blood Moon, a special date where three different astronomical events happened at the same time- the blue moon, blood moon and lunar eclipse.

Due to his unique birthdate, Starsong was extremely curious about the moon, stars, and galaxy that made his birthdate special. Because of this, Starsong decided to devote his life into studying the galaxy, a place he would never be able to visit.

Surprisingly, Starsong loves to sing. On bright nights, he loves to go outside, and sing to the stars and the moon, which gave him his name.

"It's wobbling!" Rhea gasped to her mate, Soreth. Glancing back, Soreth shrugged. It didn't look like it was about to hatch anytime soon to him.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah! Can't you see the slight tilt to the egg? It was more flat to the ground seconds ago!"
Soreth snorted. "Yeah right."
C r a c k !
The sound distracted the bickering couple. They both stared, transfixed, at the unhatched eggs in their nest.
After a long, drawn out pause, a loud crack resulted in the egg splitting apart, and a small snuffling sound was heard just as a tiny snout poked out of the egg. Pretty soon, the hatchling jumped out. It had dark red wings, that reflected beautifully from the rare orange moon. A lighter pink colored geode-like substance covered part of the hatchlings face, wings, and legs. He would've been perfect if not for his tiny size.
The new hatchling was tiny, especially compared to the other hatchling that had hatched a while ago, from the same nest. The new hatchling had large wings, and was heavier then the first, but his small body greatly worried his parents. What if something was wrong with him? They couldn't even think about that.
But as he gazed up at the moon with his bright violet eyes, they were reassured. He was fine.
Before he could speak, or even walk, he lifted his tiny head up to the stars, and sung. The beautiful, deep song was unnatural for a hatchling to be singing, as they usually had high-pitched voices. Now that they thought about it, his twin hadn't even opened his eyes yet. Yet, miraculously, this tiny bit of a hatchling could already sing, seconds into his life.
The truly beautiful deep song settled over them, making them drowsy. Rhea lowered her torn wings, Soreth closed his eyes, and the hatchlings twin, whom they decided to name Muffin, curled up in the tall grass.

"Let's name him Starsong."
