Biography
Lotus gifted Myosotis her namesake flower growing in a clay pot.
Four eggs! Wisteria smiled smugly. "With two moms what did you expect!" Both dragons fell into a fit of giggles. The little spiral, for all her yakking, was a surprisingly good listener, Myosotis had found. So it was to Wisteria that she had confided that she wanted to be a parent. "I think you will be a great mother! I also think we could make some beauriful hatchlings together if you don't mind raising spirals..."
Myosotis had been overjoyed. She was so comfortable around Wisteria and the idea of a couple of little spiral hatchlings flitting about swelled her heart! But four, well it was a good thing they would have two parents who tended to stay around the clan home because even in the unlikely event that any hatched imperials they were going to be a handful.
Because she had been born with a male body Myosotis had been unsure that this day would ever come. She knew that she would have to take on the role of the male to produce the eggs. This had made her feel so very uncomfortable but something had helped her get past that. During the Trickmurk Circus some of her clanmates had staged a play. The actors had convincingly pretended to be something very different from their true selves. If they could do it just to entertain their clanmates surely she could do so to attain this goal for herself.
To prepare, Myosotis had worked with Aster. Pretending to be male had been unexpectedly freeing and seemed to reinforce her femininity rather than the other way around. Aster had wisely chosen a humorous scene from "The Tree's Knees" and they had laughed their way through the afternoon. The acting session had left her with the self confidence she needed to approach one of the females of the clan, but who?
When she confided to Wisteria her idea had been to ask which of the clan females she thought would be receptive to the idea of nesting with her. She had imagined the spiral would have to think hard about the question and have a difficult time coming up with a suggestion. It had been a pleasant surprise that Wisteria had volunteered herself. She had further surprised the imperial by crowing "All the girls will be so jealous!"
Thinking about it all later Myoaotis felt the happiness well up inside her. Four eggs! Tears of joy began to flow as she settled in the nesting grounds for a deep restful aleep.
