Biography
2nd gen Imp (Imp x Imp)
軽音 Karune light sound
Next in line for the kingdom of Emvidarys after his older brother Likes to travel and explore things but tends to get into trouble.
If he sees injustice he usually gets involved to the frustration of his royal guard.
He has his Stubborn and childish moments
Clumsy, and sometimes oddly graceful.
Friendly and talkative. Can't cook to save his life. He's happy to be second in line and wants his beloved older brother to live a looong time (no sibling rivalry or jockeying for the throne here folks!)
He's jealous of his brother and wants to be strong like him.
Tries to low key copy the guards fighting techniques and practice them where no one can see.
It doesn't work out too well, because usually someone will notice he has bruises and scuffs.
He's recently been under threat of assassination so hes been looking for a guard who could be trusted above all others.
Karune's found his guard and mate in Ttalgi.

Another breeze shook the curtains of the window, and once again Karune closed his eyes in order to just enjoy the summer weather. With the warmth from the sun, his mate at his side now, and plans to go on a flight with his brother in the afternoon, it was just shaping up to be the perfect day. He would make the best of it too. Days like this didn't come around often. Royal life was hectic; and Karune was just thankful he wasn't first in line for the throne. Instead, his older brother was before him, and had taken the responsibility in stride. His brother was strong and wise- quite literally made to be king. Though sometimes, Karune worried about him- of course he usually worried, so that wasn't anything new. His brother too often overworked himself, to the point where Karune would find him passed out, bent over a book the tutors had ordered him to read, with a pile of letters from other kingdoms sprawled next to him as well. He wanted his beloved brother to live a long time, but with the danger's of royal life and his brother's own self-destructive habits, Karune couldn't help wishing he would be more laid-back, and relax sometimes. If he was always exhausted, mentally and physically, he wouldn't be able to defend himself if worse came to worse. Afterall, if Karune was in danger as the second prince, then his brother was even more so.
---
About a year ago, a plot was revealed that a traitorous group planned to assassinate Karune, perhaps in a bid of replacing him with a prince that suited them better. With the plot out in the open, his family (especially his brother) had begun fussing over him. They insisted that he needed a personal guard, one for 24/7 safety. It hadn't taken long for Karune to relent. Sure, he knew some things about self-defense from watching the royal guards sparring, but a threat on his life was not something to be taken lightly. In his brother's attempts the keep him safe, they had searched for, and found a guard they thought capable of protecting the prince (although with some concern at the dragon's past)- although it was Karune himself who ended up making the final decision. Ttalgi, his guard and now his mate, was enslaved as a gladiator for the entertainment of the people. Although it took a lot of negotiation, and an astronomical sum of gems, Ttalgi was released from his slavitude in trade for becoming Karune's personal guard. Even though Ttalgi didn't say it out loud, Karune believed he thought of Karune as his savior, and perhaps he was right. Even as the formidable warrior he was, those rings weren't kind to even their champions. Although it had been difficult in the beginning, Ttalgi was often standoffish- and even vicious, Karune didn't regret the decision he had made on the day he had bought Ttalgi out of ring, because with Karune's kind demeanor, and endless patience and dedication on both sides, it allowed them to be where they were today. Together, relatively safe, but most importantly- happy. . |
