Despite her cold exterior, she cares deeply about the clan members (including the subjects).[1] Laconic, no good for casual conversation. Has a tendency to become obsessed with the subject of her research - during those episodes communication becomes disrupted to the point of being nearly impossible. Fascinated by magic, genetics and the nature of life. Youth spent with mother and two sisters in the Scarred Wasteland; father died when she was a hatchling. Lost mother during a hunt. Moved back to Starfall Isles to research runes covering her body, said to have originated from there. [1]Citation needed. Misc. #1: What happened here? Last time I checked, she was a tad distant, but level-headed and caring scientist lady... Where did I go wrong?!
Notes for lore (spoilers?):
- the youngest sister and the only one born on the Starfall Isles
- father was an Arcane dragon as well
- he lost his life trying to save Nightcatcher from danger, the Runes on her body are actually a protective spell that he put on her (it's a kind of ancient magic, so it's visible - unlike more modern spells)
- the only memoir she has left after him and her most prized possession is her Arcane Tome
- after his death, her family moved back to the Scarred Wasteland
- physically weaker than her sisters, she was unable to be of much help in a hunt (since she wasn't learned in using magic either, her spells were very unpredictable and unreliable as well)
- still thinks that at least her mother's death could be avoided if she was stronger, or at least could use magic better
- returned to the Isles to learn magic and make herself actually useful for once
- it was going well at first, but she gradually spiraled into madness as her fascination and unquenchable thirst for knowledge deepened
- prim and proper but caring, became stone-cold and borderline cruel, not caring about anyone but her research and maybe a handful of dragons closest to her (Zallen>Stargazer>Poison>her sisters?>her "children"???)
- considers Stargazer her godson, he and Zallen are probably the only ones she still has non-toxic relationships with
- VERY disappointed with Blueberry, whom she considers stupid and unfit to be of her blood - as such, he gets mentally abused by her much harder than anyone else
- doesn't really care about her "children" nor the clan, despite being the de-facto leader
- the only criteria of joining the clan under her rule are:
A) Be obedient to her rule,
B) Don't get in her way,
C) Make a Vow of Silence so that you may never speak of what you see in the clan outside of the clan
- yes, the Vow of Silence is enforced with a spell
- survived the attempt at assassination partly due to her father's spell
- wants to create life artificially, WITH SCIENCE!!!
