BIO WIP, NEEDS UPDATING

It can be said that Honeydew was one of the founding members of the Clan of the Highwall Stockade. The Ridgeback joined as a young hatchling with a hard edge and has since grown in both the literal sense and in her position and role in the clan. Her presence in the Matriarch's company far preceeds even the Guardian's discovery of her Charge.

Her role in supporting Butternut cannot be ignored. From the moment the two had met, Honeydew was dead set on making the Guardian a part of her life, and herself a part of the Guardian's life. Rebellious and stubborn, even Honeydew was faintly surprised that the other dragon would be so accepting of her company.

The two were cut of the same cloth; both drakes were quick to speak their minds and just as quick to fight to prove - or defend - themselves. Both the Guardian and the Ridgeback had a tendency to be disdainful, snarky, and purposefully unpleasant to others, yet these similar traits were a large part of why they became so close so quickly. The two were always on the same page, and this was a strength both soon came to appreciate.

Honeydew, being one of the clan members to have known the Matriarch the longest, has been designated as Courier for the clan. Delivering messages within the clan, she dictates Butternut's rules and announcements to the dragons of her lair. As of late, the title of 'Courier' has also come to refer to members of the Clan's growing militia force.

The growth of the clan has led to her passing on her duties to a few other dragons of the clan. These other couriers answer to Honeydew directly.

Honeydew is one of the dragons who most appreciates her leader's blatant and honest nature, and she shares this trait with her Matriarch. Where Butternut is quiet and tends to keep her irritation to herself, however, Honeydew is quick to snap at anyone who tests her patience.

Swift, dutiful, and precise, Honeydew has cemented her place in the clan. Of all the other candidates, the most likely to be called Butternut's right hand dragon would be this icy white Ridgeback.
