In her early years as a young dragon, she was found and adopted into a clan, more so to an elder Spiral of the clan in hopes to give him peace to have a second chance in raising a hatchling. Enyo was excited to meet him, ready to please him in any way as a first impression and so she could be loved by him. However, he turned his eye away, claiming not to be interested in the 'brat' and ignored her for a while. The Wildclaw was heartbroken, but felt challenged to try to win his heart. Many times she tried and many times she had failed. It was only when her 'treasures' seem to have caught his attention as he claimed that she needed to give him something more valuable if she wished to even gain a glance. And so she did. Late at night, after everyone else was asleep, she would have slipped past the guard of the clan to venture off to an abandoned cave that once belonged to a dragon. After bringing back a moonstone to the Spiral, instead of interest, she was scolded by him, but not until he had remembered his own words. Despite still not wishing to adopt her as his own, he decided to make a deal with her. If she could handle his training and anything he could toss at her, he would rethink the possibilities and deem her worthy in his presence. She would work hard under his wing, learning all she could through the pain, tears, and blood. Without realizing it first hand, their bond had grown and the Spiral started to be more open with her - even started picking on her as he grew more relaxed. As a grown Wildclaw, she became the clan's new shadow, ambushing trespassers and assassinating anyone who threatened them. Many in the clan call her Mendoza's kin, but he still denies this statement (only because he's very stubborn and hates admitting to things). After all the work as a hatchling, she's proud with where she is. Until recently. There had been a part of her that wondered if she could do more, to be worth more, not just to herself or to Mendoza, but to the clan and the other dragons. For a while, she had watched and even grew tired of seeing dragons coming into their clan, unworthy or not while she had to fight for her place. With how she was raised, she soon believed that you had to be a worthy dragon and prove it so to the clan before they could be a part of it. This had attracted a 'goddess' named Nix, whom played along with Enyo's belief, twisting it and soon gained the wildclaw's loyalty and trust. Perhaps Enyo had gotten blind in her beliefs, but to her, they had gained so much ground for her; how could she back out now? Even as she finds out what Nix does with those 'unworthy' dragons and a few 'worthy' ones, she finds herself loyal and praising her. Each day she grows stronger, faster, and quieter, embracing her shadow element more and more. Soon, when facing an enemy from a corner, her shadow had created a form of its own, fighting by her side. Until that point, she grew more respect for the shadows and wondered if it was possible to create multiple shadows. Believing that the tribe could have a better leader, Enyo challenged the previous leader, winning with little effort. For as long as she could remember, the tribe had struggled to be successful. To be worthy in the eyes of others.
