The Childish Sorceress is known by many;
She offers her service for no more than a penny.
Weaving her magic through stem and root,
She wheedles out both flower and fruit.

They call her childish, although she is wise;
They are referring to her miniature size.
While making seeds sprout and bloom is a cinch,
She cannot make herself grow even an inch!

She is never seen without a dog in tow,
Whether it's Kenya, Quinn, or Coco.
All of them strays, picked off the street,
Flea-bitten, all bone and no meat.

She nursed them back to health
And gave them love in wealth.
Their home is now in the glade
With the Childish Sorceress, Adelaide.
