At sundown, Tiamat sees the ocean stained with blood. In tending to her lineage, she ensues it will never again be her own, nor that of her children.

There was once a day where the Daughters of the Sea turned their heads, only to find the waters churned with their blood. Within a single year, the once-propsperous family line was cut down by fearful sailors, whom blamed the Daughters on the loss of their ships and brethern's lives. Only a single Daughter remained, and from her, a new generation of imperfect daughters are born - mere shadows of their once-powerful lineage, but nonetheless, alive.

Descended from tidemothers before her, Tiamet is a siren whose kind was wiped from Sornieth's oceans by wary sailors.
