“Could anything be better than Light?”

“Tell me about the Ruins again!” a young Zadanik always chirped, provoking beleaguered sighs from her put-upon father. No matter how many other stories he offered, it was always tales of Light dragons and their dazzling deity that she demanded to hear. The glittering sea, sun-bleached stone, warmth and clarity and light - all of these things seemed so lovely compared to the odd dreaminess of Limbo or the Shifting Expanse’s dusty emptiness.

She saw her chance when she heard her clan was seeking additional ambassadors to a new ally in Light, eagerly volunteering herself despite only a vague knowledge of what exactly an ambassador did. As a parting gift her mother gave her a pearlcatcher scroll, to her absolute delight - losing her skydancer senses was a small price to pay to be that much closer to the Light ideal she sought. And with an almost boundless hope filling her soul, she set off to her new home, anticipating all the shining glory she’d dreamed of for so long.

♥ AGVOKUN (her mother) Zadanik's mother always supported her passions, eagerly encouraging her to follow her dreams to Light even if they took her far from home.

♡ ZAHKRII (her father) Her father's stories first sparked Zadanik's love for Light, and the way he dodged her many probing questions about his time there only made her more curious (to his mild dismay).

♡ VYSSE (her mentor) While suspecting that Zadanik might not be quite as interested in being an ambassador as she claims, Vysse does her best to teach her what she can anyway.

♡ SOVAL (her mentor) Somewhat more distant in his tutoring than his wife, Soval nonetheless ensures Zadanik learns the ins and outs of diplomacy.

♥ KUSAVA (her son) She considers him a blessing, an affirmation of her new home in Light.
