SUMMARY
Most tend to overlook Cheraw, leader of the Mosskeepers. Those that do tend to look note his strangeness. He is a snapper that walks among the swaying bamboo docks of the sky ships without fear. He is an earth dragon covered in intricate wind tattoos. Cheraw simply ignores them all. He has work to do.

Always calm, collected, and rational no matter the circumstances, Cheraw is head of all skyship operations and oversees travel done by clan members. Not a nail for a ship nor a plank for a path gets by without his careful eye inspecting everything. His place as leader of all ship craftsmen sometimes leads to tension with the other craftsmen within the Coinguard, but even this does little to phase him. Cheraw is a weathered rock within a storm, determined to do his job and do it to the best of his abilities.
HISTORY
Like his siblings, Cheraw was born doubly cursed. Unlike his siblings, however, he was never very concerned with it. He instead spent much of his time learning how to build ships. He poured every inch of his focus into his passion, always seeking new ways to improve old designs. He ignored the signs of the growing curse within himself and his siblings. Things reached a breaking point, and it was only the intervention of a skilled doctor that saved Cheraw's life. After a lengthy recovery, Cheraw left to seek a place where he could both apply his skills and receive treatment.

After a long journey, he came to the clan of the Welkin Ruins. At first, he cared little for the Code and their ideals. He was much more interested in their plans to build airships for the clan's use- as well as the treatment he could get for his affliction there. Quickly, Cheraw put his skills to work with the others as they worked on construction of the Sky Docks. It soon became apparent that he was the most skilled within the workforce, and was put in charge of construction. He grew to appreciate the clan's tenets over time, and the kindness they showed him. When the docks were complete and the first ships were built, Cheraw was officially named as first leader of the Mosskeeper guild- in charge of the ships, their construction, dock management, and all the workers within that sector.

Cheraw works hard to keep both his feet on the ground and his guild organized. When he's not working on paperwork or leading his workers, he himself does work on the ships. He is constantly working on new ship designs when he isn't carefully inspecting the work his guild is doing.
