Another beloved "adoptee," she took a long time to choose her name, which is a reflection not only of her coloration, but also of the nickname of her favorite character, Briarose, who appeared in a scroll entitled "Martin the Warrior," which she read while still in the Light Clan.

6-12-14: Shortly after her arrival, Eveningrose caught the attention of a handsome gray Guardian, who has been trying to woo her ever since. At the moment, however, she is not interested in hatchlings....

6-25-14: As a "welcome to the Clan" gift, Eveningrose received a Sunbeam Ursa for her personal companion within days of her arrival in the lair. Their friendship was immediate, and the bonding process was a joy for both of them. The bear was actuality somewhat shy at first, but he warmed up to the lair quickly, and now he and Eveningrose are inseparable... although it is possible that one day he might go on an adventure or two. He will, however, always come home.

9-19-14: Her Sunbeam Ursa has awakened! Eveningrose is thrilled, and looking forward to a whole new level in their friendship.

10-1-14: Time goes on, and nothing ever stays the same. The Sunbeam Ursa has decided to go exploring, though he made it clear to his lifelong companion that he will come home eventually. In the meantime, a Sunset Lasher has found himself attracted to the gentle Guardian. It is an odd pairing, but it seems to be working...

11-28-14: After a highly successful week at the Rockbreaker's Ceremony, Nightsedge offered Eveningrose a stunning gift: a beautiful necklace of pinkish-red jasper, carved to look like a rose and pulsing with a combination of Arcane and Light magic. ( ) Though it does not show on her pictures, Rose is now wearing Night's gift... and her heart may just be warming to him as well....

12-28-14: Rose is not yet sure what to do about her infatuated Guardian friend, and has been playing with her Sunset Lasher companion to take her mind off the dilemma. All that playing has had an interesting--if somewhat predictable--result: The Sunset Lasher has Awakened! Eveningrose is pleased for her friend....

2-14-17: After a long time waiting, Eveningrose has found her next familiar.... or rather, Nightsegde has given her an extraordinary gift for Valentine's Day. Will the Enamored Swan win her heart over at last? There are actually some of the Clan rooting for poor Night on this one.... After all, three years is a very long time to wait for your mate to notice you....

5-14-17: Amore, the Enamored Swan, has Awakened! But the big question is, has he also Awakened Rose's heart? Or will poor Night be left in the cold yet again? The Clan is waiting with baited breath for the answer....

6-25-18: To the surprise of the whole Clan, Eveningrose has ignored the special Light Familiar for this year....in favor of Joxar's Sparkle Nymph. When asked why she is not interested in the odd, friendly ambassador, Rose shrugged, and said "it wouldn't work right with the family." This has many of the Clan sitting up with great interest, as Rose does not actually have a family, except of course for her "siblings"....but she does have a hopeful suitor....is the aloof Guardian finally beginning to thaw? Could Nightsedge have his heart's desire soon? No one knows, but a great many are hoping...and in the meantime, the Sparkle Nymph is bringing untold fun and enjoyment to the lair with her playful antics and beautiful glitter....

7-10-18: Eveningrose just asked Nightsedge to mate with her! The Clan is stunned. Out of nowhere, the gentle Guardian appears to have decided to give Night a chance after all. Could it have something to do with the odd potion Nebula slipped into her paws earlier this afternoon? Duskshadow is not sure....but Rose is insistent that this is her choice, and she just wants to make Nightsedge happy. "One mating," she says, "and then we'll see." Many of the Clan are ecstatic, but some are wondering about the strange smile on Nebula's face. For better or worse, however, it appears that this odd love story is finally coming to a triumphant conclusion--or at least to a temporary truce, as there are now 4 eggs in the nesting area...

7-15-18: During the week that Rose watched her eggs, something odd appears to have happened to her. She is not sure if it was watching those beautiful eggs mature, or the potion that Nebula gave her, or something within herself, but Eveningrose is absolutely in love with her 4 newborn children...AND with their father. What started as a "temporary" love link to give Night what he wanted has now become a permanent feeling, and to her own astonishment, Rose could not be happier. Even better, Nightsedge is still just as interested as he was before the eggs hatched, and certainly did not complain when Rose showed her new appreciation for this wonderful Guardian who gave her such gorgeous and unique children....

..And so the strangest love story in the Clan has come to an extremely satisfactorily conclusion, and the entire Clan is happily planning the upcoming official mating....and Nebula, of all dragons, has been asked to be bridesmaid...and Godmother to all four of Rose and Night's children. Well, it was her potion that jumpstarted the process...but some of the Clan are not quite as happy about Rose's choice of "secondary mother" for the four hatchlings as they are about her choice of permanent mate...

9-25-18: Rose and Nightsedge are thoroughly enjoying themselves, but this does not stop them from enjoying other activities as well. Rose, in particular, has been busy, looking after her children (all except Samhain, who is, astonishingly, Night's Charge, a discovery made almost as soon as Rose's oldest daughter opened her eyes), and of course, playing with her familiars. And now her Sparkle Nymph has Awakened! Eveningrose is quite happy for her friend, and looking forward to the Nymph helping her out with various things in the future...

12-9-18: Rose is extremely happy today, as a spell that has been on her for quite some time seems to have finally run its course: Her rose locket, which Night had carved for her out of a beautiful pink Jasper over 3 years ago ( ), has finally become visible to the entire Clan. She is not sure which makes her happier, the compliments of all the females of the Clan, or Night's proud smile that she is truly wearing his gift, but one thing is for sure, she won't be taking it off any time soon...

2-14-19: Rose's daughter, Samhain, has had 3 adorable little hatchlings of her own, and Rose couldn't be happier. Though she does wish it hadn't happened through Samhain's brother Beltane playing with his magical talent for encouraging amorous unions...
