A dragon who is drawn towards nightmarish horrors and ghosts, experiencing a feeling that is somewhat the opposite of fear but very similar to it nonetheless. He may sometimes be found talking to what seems to be thin air or empty shadows. He frequently wanders through forest paths and runs through fields and glides through mountain valleys, almost appearing to be following something unseen. He is a deft flyer and loves to be in the air.
His magical skills lie in healing, and when on the offense -- creating dream-like hallucinations in enemies. He is very protective, especially of those that are vulnerable, and uses his body and his large, thick wings to shield others from harm.
A journal entry, scrawled down so that he doesn't forget:

"I made it through the Abiding Boneyard. By myself. They doubted that I would survive - they said that I was small, weak, far too sensitive, foolish. They told me I had my head in the clouds. But despite the protests, nobody stopped me when I left. I couldn't stay. Those days in the Boneyard were the most miserable days of my life. I began to see things that weren't real. Things I couldn't make out leaped from the shadows and clawed at me. I spent so much time running and hiding, delirious. Most of the stuff I could find to eat made me nauseous, usually worse. |

Ghosts followed me. They would disappear when I looked directly at them, but they were always in my periphery. I was actually thankful for their company. At times, it almost seemed like they were guiding me - when I barely had any of myself left, I followed them instead. Eventually I found myself amidst the mist-ridden, shadowed cliffs of the Reedcleft Ascent. Strong winds carried me down through them, but eventually injuries that I didn't remember sustaining collapsed me. I may have had some help then. Just a little bit, though. No matter. I don't feel so weak anymore. I no longer need to refuse help to prove that I can take care of myself. I've never felt warmer than I have amidst these icy mountains." |
