DRAGONS OF VERMIN
HISTORY OF THE ROTTED GODS WARNINGS: TBA The Dragons of Vermin is a court of Gods. Gods of filth, sin, shade, the court holds both old and new, weak and strong, and it never lets go. The Great King Norve was the first of the vermin, born alongside the Grand Deities, witness to the lands movement and the horrific tragedies of the past. As He grew alongside the dragonfolk being born, He slowly began to absorb the resentment of the beings around Him. From the Beastfolk to wronged Ancients, the malice in His heart grew, in anger towards the Grand Deities-- and as the modern day dragons set foot on fresh soil-- this hatred culminated His divinity. The Great King Norve is a man of love. A man of compassion for the lesser beings, of sacrifice-- and He will do anything to ensure that those wronged by the Divine will receive their revenge, regardless of who He may have to go against. In this effort, Great King Norve enlisted the help of various other Gods who held the same desires to go against the eventual Eleven. These Gods don't always hold the best intentions, though. From selfish rulers wanting a Deity's power, to blood hungry fiends wanting war, there's no way to tell the wants of these individuals, even for the Great King. The Great King Norve is aware of these wants, maybe too aware, but so long as He doesn't say a thing, these Gods remain in the council, waiting for the day they declare war on the Heavens. |

L O R Dx A L L U V I U M Being the first god that Great King Norve chose to be in the court, Pentes is well respected by just about every dragon of the vermin. He's strict, powerful, and just as old as the Great King-- so he personally witnessed most if not all of the trials the Great King went through, and supported him along the way into his Divinity. Born from the muck of Sornieth's soil, Pentes is known as the current Lord Alluvium, and takes his position seriously. Having been given the title by his dear friend, he will protect it at all costs-- even if it means dueling to the death to keep it.    |
Pentes had once been an arrogant man. Having gained a Crown of Pins, an ancient dress from a long gone society, he prided himself in his strength and intelligence. As a king he was cruel, only regarding his subjects as those who served him and nothing more. As a lover he was brutal, treating the woman who had fallen for him so deeply as if she were a nuisance.
Despite these things being well known about Pentes, he still holds the respect of many dragons. They'll claim he was a magnificent ruler, a ruler who housed thousands upon thousands of the Vermin, a ruler who fed the Vermin regardless of their origins-- but they won't speak of him thinking of them as subhuman. They'll claim the love between Pentes and Xanthia was pure, and that the fate they shared as a tragedy for everyone-- but they won't tell a soul about the events of the Blood Ridden Bells.
Nowadays, the things that no one speaks of is finally coming back around to Pentes. As tensions rise between the Four Lords, consequences are clawing up the legs of these pitiful crowns, and with it comes the victims of the Lords' doings.

T R O L E N
S O V E R E I G N xI M P E R I A L The oldest of the Vermin Court. Being older than even the Great King Norve Himself, Trolen is an ancient dragon said to hold remnants of the Grand Deities power in her pelt. He holds vast knowledge, from old civilizations to the future wars that will be held, he is all-knowing. The relationship between Trolen and the Great King Norve is a mystery. Many would say the two were lovers, while others would say they are merely King and Subject, but really, Trolen would claim the nature of their relationship goes beyond the modern concept of bonds.    |

As the Sovereign Imperial, Trolen is said to have connections to the Imperial Breed like no other. He claims to be one of the first imperials made by Lightweaver Herself, one filled with Shade and Rot, a clumsily put together strand of bones and meat, and while many may not believe this statement-- there's no way to disprove of it, with her age.
Because of this bond though, Trolen is notorious for her array of undead imperials that follow her like guards. While many do not know where this array is kept, or even who or what provides the bodies, Trolen makes no attempt to hide them. These imperials accompany him for any "public" appearances, and each time it is a new imperial of great heights. This army is one that makes many uneasy, even those within the Vermin Court, as Trolen isn't adverse to combining the imperials to create Emperors-- and she's made it clear she has no problem with it.
With the recent creation of Flower Empress Marigold, Trolen has been taking over new territory underground, after just as recent controversy that challenged her seating in the Vermin Court.

L O C U S T
L O R DX K A O L I N As the God of Harvest, many if not all dragons of the Vermin never expected Locust to join the court. Those of the Harvest are pure opposites of the Vermin, where they thrive on the blooming of life, rather than the destruction of it. Locust has intentions like no other, though, and it's something the Great King Norve wishes to take advantage of. The two knowingly manipulate the other, both feigning interest in the others campaign-- and for now, this dance between Gods has no visible end in sight.    |
As one twin of the Insecta Kings, Locust is the more eccentric of the two, while Mantis is the more angry one-- according to Locust himself anyways. The two have nurtured the lands of Sornieth for just as long as historical texts can tell, so when it was announced that Locust would be taking the title of Lord Kaolin, many of those in the court were shocked. The Insecta Kings were previously enemies of the Vermin, as they worked against the vermin, rather than alongside them.
With Locust becoming the Lord Kaolin, though, he has proposed many ways for the Insecta and Vermin to co-exist, even ways to further life and death to benefit both sides. Life cannot exist without Death, Locust has said, and the only way for either side to push forward is to see to it that they both continue in their existence.
Flowers will continue to bloom, meat will continue to rot.

P R I N C EX O FX W O R M S Prince Anura is one of the most mysterious lords of the Vermin Court. Being the son of Trolen, raised from an amalgamation of ancient corpses, many had the expectation that he would one day inherit the Sovereign Imperial title-- that Trolen himself would retire. But, after disowning his mother following a vicious fight, Prince Anura would move on to begin the Clan of Phrauge. The Great King Norve would officiate this Clan as one of the Vermin, and while the Prince still attends necessary banquets, he's never treated his Clan as a place for the Court.    |

Prince Anura is known as the Double-Head Frog, whose corpse is settled within the Reptid Rosale Temple. With a grand display, many assume that the God of Phrauge has truly died, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Now roaming the streets in a modern body, Prince Anura observes the daily life, and private life, of those within his Clan. With the other Lords slowly having their followers turn on them, he's taking all precautions necessary to avoid getting involved with them again-- especially after the War of Flies.
His own followers may give him trouble though. With more and more being revealed about the War, the more antsy dragons are getting. Why would their own God allow for something so horrible? Why would the Court pit its own against each other? But, it all comes from the mouths of hypocrites.
