Biography

Sheltain is a Golden Rosetted Cat Coatl

CatCoatl Lore All throughout Sornieth, in small dark caves and high in the tree tops, there lives a Clowder of CatCoatls. These spritzy little things have been around for many moons however only recently have they ventured out of their own Group to join some of the Dragon Clans out there. Granted it has not been many of them, but certainly a few. Having spent their days in solitude away from potential dangers , they led a simple and playful lifestyle. Only with the beast clans now rising up to take the Dragons on by force were the little CatCoatls forced to choose a side for they were both beast and Dragon in heart and in nature. Yet the cunning CatCoatls could see the Beast Clans were only out for revenge and would not listen to reason when the topic of "Living in Harmony" was mentioned. The CatCoatls also saw the Dragons merely meant no harm and many would be willing to live side by side if not for the constant battles that took place. The CatCoatls decided they would take the side of the Dragon Breeds and perhaps with their cunning and intelligence they would be able to somehow aid and assist in regaining their once peaceful world.

The Rosetted Bengal Now the Bengal could never be called delicate. He is an athlete: agile and graceful with a strong, muscular body, as befits a CatCoatl who looks as if he belongs in the jungle. He is highly active and highly intelligent. This makes him fun to live with, but he can sometimes be challenging. On the whole, the Bengal is a confident, talkative, friendly CatCoatl who is always alert. Nothing escapes his notice. He likes to play games and he’s a whizz at learning tricks which makes them fabulous magicians and pranksters but also great Spell Masters. His nimble paws are almost as good as hands, and it’s a good thing he doesn’t have oppose-able thumbs or he would probably rule the world. Bored Bengal's can also adopt some unconventional (and slightly destructive) habits, including: Pinching the fish from your dinner plate and excitedly plucking beetle larvae from your alchemy bottles when you least expect it. Fond of playing in water, the Bengal is not above jumping into the tub or strolling into the shower with you either. However this evolved breed of CatCoatl are certainly intelligent enough to be fully independent. Even if the do still prefer to sharpen their tiny claws on Birch Logs. One thing remains though is that they love company and are sure to have an abundance of friends. They also love to hoard things, but these are mostly toys for them to play when they feel that horrible boredom approaching and also Dress-Up items. Nothing better than a day of playing dress-up to melt your cares away. It makes for great Theatrical Talents also.
