They betrayed her. Her own family shunned her; whispered that she was just like her mother. It fueled Lyrein's aggression and hostility from the start. She had to be the best. Be it beast or dragon, she tore apart her enemies with relentless precision. Her power gained favor, and an uprising of terror swept across the land. It wasn't until a powerful sorceress challenged her that she learned a terrible lesson. Though the mage was slain, they bestowed upon her a terrible fate. The arena's once favored bloodlust warrior was now crippled; her body erupting with crystalized stones. Lyrein aims to reverse her twisted form. She is not quite so nibble, and far more brittle now, but has taken to weaponizing poisons as her latest form of attack. No one will stand in her way again, and she will be cured. For better, or for worse.
