-Kelpie is similar in act and manner as to the dark creature he is named after.
-Lives in the water, is never far from it
-Weirdly (for such a dangerous creature) he harbors a lot of affection for their father and those he falls in love with.
-Due to the nature of his father's relationship, Kelpie is almost cursed to never have a permanent mate. Something always comes between them and his mate or something terrible happens.
-Often appears as a dark, hard-to-discern horse emerging from his swamp in the mist. Smoke streams off his body.
-Even when in dragon form, their wings trail off into smoke.

Mate 1: Lorelei
XXPearlcatcher, fresh water monster

Lorelei lives in the large river that runs through the Tangled Woods, a water spirit not unlike Kelpie. If you're travelling along the riverside at night (well, it's always night, isn't it?), through the clouds of Will 'o the Wisps you may hear her beautiful, haunting song. Careful you don't fall prey to it.

Smart and malicious, Lorelei met Kelpie on a riverbank and seduced him. The two dangerous monsters were fearsome duo for several weeks as they patrolled the river side by side, attacking dragons and creatures and taking them to their doom. After that though, the two sort of drifted apart as Kelpie left for a different hunting ground.
