Information on your Assignment:

Chiroptera Cult This is your second assignement, consider it a vacation for your good service. Hidden in a pocket dimension, you shall be able to enter this Clan if you are destined to. The Cult loves bats, and is loyal to the Shadowbinder. Keep an eye on these good allies, may they not stray from our Mother's shadows. |
S P Y : #31
a.k.a. "Patience" Some say the very shadows whisper rumors and happenings from afar into the Shadowbinder's ears, bringing news from lands the great deity did not walk. They're almost right. A small organisation of dragons travel far and wide and settle themselves in distant clans, welcomed because of their pretty scales and alluring demeanor. They begin learning and absorbing the knowledge and plans from the unknowing dragons around them, before sending on the knowledge through coded scrolls messaged directly to the Forum of the Obscured Crescent. They are the true Shadowbinder's eyes and ears. They are the Spies of the Shadowbinder. |

To say that Patience was tired of the Shifting Expanse would be an understatement. The Clan of Nameless Thunder wasn't that bad, per say, but she missed the Tangled Woods terribly. She wouldn't complain though. She was happy to serve the Shadowbinder as one of her spies, and she knew assignments such as hers rarely lasted forever. As one of Her oldest spies, she was bound to change location. She would be patient (pun fully intended). She was right not to despair. Patience stared at the small bat that had brought her the letter, enchanted so only she could read it. "This is your second assignement, consider it a vacation for your good service. Hidden in a pocket dimension, you shall be able to enter this Clan if you are destined to. The Cult loves bats, and is loyal to the Shadowbinder. Keep an eye on these good allies, may they not stray from our Mother's shadows." Interesting... This seemed like a long-termed assignment. Maybe, for once in her life, she would forget rule #5 and let herself relax a bit. Smirking, she made her way back to the Woods without looking back. Finding the Chiroptera Cult had been... easier than anticipated. She had barely been able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Tangled Woods before feeling the subtle change in the air that indicated she was now in a pocket dimension. She supposed she was lucky enough to be "destined" to join this Clan. She wasn't lucky enough to be discreet however. "So much for rule #6", she though, as she was greeted by several dragons who seemed to be waiting for her. A small Fae, one of the smallest dragon of the group, and yet obviously their leader, spoke quietly: "Greetings, spy. My name is Nightshade and I am the Leader of the Chiroptera Cult. A few of our denmates have the gift of Sight and warned me of your arrival and identity. Worry not for your own safety, as I do not condone any kind of fight in our big family, unless it was needed, and the dragons here are of various species and origins. No one will bother you here, and you will have protection and support as a fellow Cultist. Should you try and harm us though, be aware we do have a very efficient security team led by Tsagaglalal other there, who sees all that happens in our dimension. Welcome to the Chiroptera Cult." Having finished her little speach, Nightshade flew away, leaving Patience to eye Tsagaglalal with a calculating gaze. She wasn't stupid, and could see how strong the Imperial was, and the way she was blending in their surroundings, her body melting in the Shadows. She could almost taste her magic, and had no doubt that she could literally see all that happened in the Clan. She was accompanied by the rest of the security team, a small, young Fae that looked dangerous, a big and stoic Snapper, and a scowling Pearlcatcher with a broken horn. She had no doubt any of them could beat her in a fight, probably with ease. Letting her senses reach the rest of the Cult, she could feel many, many terrifying creatures casually hanging around with other, more "normal" dragons. May the Shadowbinder give her strengh; it seems this might not be as easy as she thought it would be, despite Nightshade's reassurances on her safety. She supposed she had to wait and see... |
