curious + eccentric + down to earth
"Has always wanted you to go to space, man."
Never before has a dragon set foot on the moons of Sornieth. But many a dragon has had a foot set on them Spaceman, probably because he has spent his whole life looking directly up at the sky and not where he was going.
"What do you think they sell up there?"
Were his first words to his baffled adopted clan.
"Who's they?"
"The dragons on the moon."
"There are no dragons on the moon, Spaceman." they scoffed.
But he did not believe them, for every month when the moon was full and at the strike of midnight he swore he could see another dragon up there, looking down at him and wondering about what Sornieth dragons sell down there.
Yet one day, the questions stopped.
Spaceman stopped looking up and to everyone's bemusement was also apparently being followed everywhere by a strange dragon called Moonlight.
Perhaps one day, the Arcanist, having been so fed up of this Snapper's questions about the "moon dragons", yeeted him in anger up to the moon himself... and upon Spaceman's return he brought home that dragon he swore was looking back at him so long ago.
