Grayson has sold his goods in the Underground for as long as anyone can remember. His age likely explains the range of his strange stock, as well as his casual dismissal of the threats around him. From the ravenous ones lost in the Forgotten Caves to Shabtai's guards, customers of all sizes and sanities come to his shop. He prides himself on always providing "top quality weirdness" regardless of their nature. However, his shop is hidden so deeply in the dungeon itself - and so frequently changes place - he's nearly impossible to find twice. In his endless thread of stories, he recalls with fondness what his life was like, back when he wandered like they did. How he traveled to so many lands, saw so many temples, so many terrors, a "flash of light"... Nobody is sure as to the timeline of these stories, or their sincerity. He seems to show a genuine nostalgia for these unknown periods in time, yes. But nobody else can confirm them, due to the complete absence of information on the word "human" or the "cultures" he describes as a whole, so who is to say? |
