Leukos the mage
she was never here

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Leukos is a spoiled dragon. She also just happens to be a mage and a so-called ‘secret’ oracle. She’s known to not be very good at keeping secrets even though she tries. She’s generally silly, with her dances and plays and laugh. Somehow, everyone still loves her. She doesn’t know why she seems so charming to them, because to herself she’s just a spoiled brat. With her new outfits and colors nearly every day, it’s no suprise that she thinks of herself as ‘too entitled.’ But to every other dragon in the clan, this is just another one of her quirks.

She has quite a few of these quirks. The fact that she sees a future of chaos and sometimes confuses it with the present, or the fact that she can never seem to face her fears, or the fact that she lives in the last. She wonders if these are quirks or flaws or something else entirely sometimes, but then those questions just slip through her mind like everything else.

The world she lives in is simply a blur to her. This is probably because she likes living in the past. To her, this is okay. To others, it’s also fine. But to the creatures of the dark, the ones who hide in the shadows, it’s not. They despise her. They plot on how to do away with her some days, and others they gaze at her, still hating her one way or another.

Strange. That’s what the shadows say.

Odd. That’s what the voice inside calls her.

Yet she tries the best to block out the voices. She hopes that one day her outfit will fit and her chameleon-like scales will actually be beautiful, but that day does not seem to come soon. The past. It is because of the past she lives in. She longs for a day when she’s normal. But she doesn’t know if that day will come or not. She never does, even though she claims to be an oracle. She really just asks the wind and the waves and sometimes Penny, but that’s really where she gets her ideas, not from that silly glass ball she always carries around. In reality, she just likes the patterns it makes when she rubs it.

But Leukos doesn’t like reality. It’s too harsh for her. She would rather just have her fantasies. And that’s fine. Right?
