Normally, when someone had a problem, it was fairly simple, and their local enforcement could solve it for them. Sometimes, however, a problem escalates out of local enforcement's control, and that's where Quiso and her soldiers come in. Quiso has been doing detective work for a long time, from catching the wiliest thieves to unraveling the seething underbelly of large crime syndicates.

Her most recent mission initially started out as a wild goose chase after a lone, backwater grave-robber, and spiraled in a sprawling mess involving a secretive cult, hatchling soldiers, an insane Imperial, and murder, and no one wanted to cooperate.

Doing her best to resolve all the pieces in the complicated case - arresting three separate criminals somehow all together, rehoming the hatchlings, and escorting the dangerous Imperial - the mission was nearly her undoing. She would be battered and beaten by her various quarries, lost her mate Nadja to the Imperial's wrath, lost her therapist to her own temper, and had to split up her tightly-knit group to get everything done.

Now having finally seen to the end of the mission, Quiso is in desperate need of a vacation.
