Biography

"Chatterbox earned his name honestly. He's always happy, always eager to tell you what he learned or did. Just... enthusiastic about everything and everyone. Impossible to get down. He's adaptable and eager. Sometimes too eager, but he's three he has a right to be a happy kid."

chatterbox has been chatterbox longer than he can remember. one of the bounty-hunters that raises them tells them all that it’s because when he was still baby-soft enough to not be let out of the holding-tubes that served as their cradles, he wouldn’t shut up. just a constant string of shrieking giggles and baby-babble, finding joy in every new noise he learned he was capable of making.

he still does that, sometimes. when the kaminoans or the bounty hunters aren’t looking, or when they’re busy enough that they won’t notice chatterbox just making noise for the sake of it, or when they’re in the cafeteria or other times when all the other noise drowns out all the noise he makes.

just testing the ting! of the back of his fork against the side of his plastisteel cup versus the tappatappa the tines make against the table-top to the tikatika he can make if he clatters it against the sides of his tray once the food is all gone. the durumpathumpa of all the boots of the bigger troopers in their training-armor, drilling in lines, and the tadump of his own boots, alone on the kamino hallway, stomping as loud as he can to try and emulate the sound. if he rocks heel-toe, heel-toe and makes sure to impact as hard as he can, he can make it sound like there’s more than one of him, thundering down the sterile white halls. whistling through the tiny gap between his front teeth. clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth, then his cheeks.

he feels full to bursting all the time. with noises and with words and ideas that he can’t just hold inside. ( he tries. he really, really does. sometimes, they get punished if he talks too much or out-of-place, and he doesn’t want that for his batchers, but the words he doesn’t say squirm in his chest like infant aiwha, trying to get out. )
