- Served Firgen as a Crooked Hatchet called the Woodweld, for its power to cleave the trunks of ancient trees like butter. As it sharpened itself on the resentment of the wood, it grew ever more unruly in its master's claws. When the King of Keys ordered Firgen to bind the Goddess Kjrn, she and the Woodweld were cursed with him.
- The Woodweld became half-flesh - that is her curse. Her limbs petrify and an everburning flame feasts upon her vegetable body. Her blood itself burns with acrid rage within her.
- Jin has made it her duty in this life to hunt the clan in Kjrn's stead.
- When she became mortal, Jin requested an alliance with Firgen and was refused.
- Kjrn comes to love Jin despite their history. But bound as she is, she can't undo the curse.
- A rash decision lead to Jin's defeat at the claws of the Blacksands Sphinx. She floats in purgatory trading barbs with the Malevolent Spirit of Ghostlight Ruins.
