Biography

The tiny black Fae sighed, watching with tired eyes as the faint white wisps danced around him. He sat on a rock shelf above an old painting depicting an ancient clan of dragons, the worn shape of Imperials swirling around Guardians and Skydancers and Coatls, all together in harmony. A royal Imperial with wings patterned like a butterfly was curled up in the room, half asleep. The two had been in Greatwyrm's Breach for a week, searching for two dragon brothers that hadn't returned after an earthquake had suddenly rolled across Dragonhome.
"Do you think we'll ever find them, Kiran?" The Imperial said in an empty voice, looking up at the Fae.
"They're out there somewhere," Kiran replied, repeating himself a few times for his friend to understand as his crests drooped from exhaustion. One of the wisps echoed his silent words in a monotone whisper. Another hissed softly. He looked down at one that had stopped at his foot, sitting on top of a pebble. The Imperial sighed again, watching the small glowing specks.
"What are those, anyway? They look almost like fireflies but... more like dragons."
"That's because they are," the Fae expressed with a small smile. Some of the wisps bounced as if they were nodding in agreement. "This cave, as you know, was home to another clan," He motioned to the painting beneath him with his tail. "Some of their spirits were still here, and something just... called them to me. They've helped me learn to speak and figure out ways to teach you."
