so quick lore summary he was born before the lost clan moved to earth which means he saw a lot of dragons go missing and never return. during this time because of his quiet and shy personality people assumed he was the cause of this because he barely spoke to anyone and everyone was paranoid. however he wasnt the villain. he knew who it was, it was a very beautiful assassin who settled in their clan(no longer with them) and he saw her commit crimes. they ended up making a deal. he would not tell anyone about what he saw, defend her at all costs and bring her supplies and in return, fall would not hurt or kill him and anyone he cared about. this wasnt a big problem for her since he didnt care nor know about anyone. eventually, the clan got so terrified they started abusing him and gave him the nickname shallow. this went on for a while until he broke down and left for a couple of months. no one knows where he went but when he returned he had found love and lost it. since now he really did feel shallow and empty he didn't feel the need to keep hiding. he just didnt care anymore. when e returned the tiny group of people he liked had left and the assassin was gone anyway. after about six years he found a wounded jester laying on the ground and took it in. if it was going to pass at least it would happrn ia warm place. however it survived and it is his pet now. shallow lives far from the clan cooking and living by himself. he has not fully recovered but is slowly finding purpose again
