"The purpose of life is the investigation of the Sun, the Moon, and the heavens.".

Color exists everywhere. The night sky, studded with stars, is a veil obscuring heavenly brilliance. One night, the veil parted, and a star fell down.

Her name was Nova. She spread her wings, and the fall turned into a glide that took her over brilliant forests and glittering crystal peaks. These magical sights ensnared her better than gravity ever could, and again she fell — into love this time, with this strange and magical new land.

From here, though, the stars were so distant, their hues could not be seen. Nova was puzzled by this. How could she share her own colorful homeland with other dragons? She wanted them to experience the beauty of celestial bodies just as she had.

She saw an artist one day. He had set up an easel outdoors and was painting the landscape and the sky....

Nova paints skyscapes now — not just black and silver hues, but stars and planets bursting with color so vivid, other dragons swear she’s seen them in person. Nova loves her new home, but she remains fascinated by the stars. Her paintings inspire others to look skyward, and she is delighted that they share in her fascination as well.
