  .About.
Stella is a newcomer to the clan who is finding her place. She yearns to become integrated in the clan and find the friendships and camaraderie forged between the older members. Recently she has found close friends in Bloodmoon and Syrah

  .Ally.
Every guild of mercenaries should be well-rounded if it wishes to remain in business. Brute force and sheer strength are, after all, not the solution to every problem. They cannot be relied upon for all conflicts unless one is untroubled by the inevitably of defeat, and those desperate enough to hire mercenaries are the same dragons desperate to avoid death. Failure is not an option.

Stella understands. She has seen what failure can do, has witnessed what she thought would be the end of days. Details elude her; that is what trauma tends to do, as she has been so kindly informed by the guild's wiser members. Nonetheless, she remembers fire and force, crumbling marble, breaking bones. Not hers, certainly not hers because the screams that accompanied them were not hers, but the bones of dragons she knew, dragons who had failed to defend their home, who barely kept her out of harm's way.

What little she remembers has poisoned her towards the idea of failure. There is nothing acceptable short of complete success because anything else is a disgrace. She will not fail. She will not be the one to let her fellow mercenaries down.

She will never give up on a job.

Thankfully, she usually doesn't have to. While most of her brethren prefer to charge in with their weapons of choice swinging away, Stella styles herself as more of an assassin. She bides her time when there is a kill to be made. She does her research, fine-tunes her approach.

And when she strikes, it's often fatal.

The lethal nature of poison appeals to her. With time and effort and more than her fair share of caution, Stella is able to manufacture all manner of toxins, covering a range of effects. There are poisons for instant death, a merciful option. So too there are poisons for protracted ends, ones that seem to stretch an entire lifetime, ones that bring nothing but searing, scorching pain. Why waste all that time flying and fighting when a few drops of poison can do more damage than her claws ever can?

Her methods are unorthodox compared to the approach of many other guild members, and much to her chagrin, it leaves her on the outskirts of the guild. She is not often requested for missions, nor for dinner after a successful strike. Perhaps they fear that she will poison their dinners or their drinks, that she will remove them from whatever equation that sits deep in her heart.

Such an unfair assessment, and if that is how they see her, then she fears for her future. It is not her intent to scare away the dragons she works side by side with. They share the same dreams and goals, the same desire to be wanted, to be loved. How many have come to the guild seeking shelter, companionship? How many were lost before now?

Whether they recognize it or not, Stella is a valuable ally, and she would do anything for the guild, anything at all. If that meant poisoning the entire world, she'd do it. The guild is her home, and maybe one day, maybe even soon, if she gets her hopes up, they will begin to pull her into their fold at last. She may be a fresh face, and a dangerous one at that, but she is theirs, and that is not an oath to be taken lightly.
