Biography

Calder "Rocky Water"

The Ivory Sand, Seafoam Plants, & a Turquoise Sea...
The waves danced as if to a slow, steady song up to the shore of the cove; the sparkling aquamarine washed calmly over the honey-gold sand, bringing long seafoam tendrils of deep water seaweed up to the glistening coastline.

Calder breathed a deep sigh, savouring the taste of salty air on his tongue. He had flown so far from the clan to reach his small paradise at the edge of all land and he realised, with a pang of heartache, that the warm colours of the sea and the soft shore reminded him deeply of his parents. He hoped to see them again one day but he knew it was unlikely. He thought of this sadly as he watched the sea until the sun touched the water on the horizon.
He enjoyed the way the reddish orange of the setting sun reflected off his Opal, sending a cascading purple light across the sand. With that, he wondered whether the rainbow sky lights were dancing over the Ice Domain that night.

He looked over, noticing something else reflecting the glow at the edge of the water, and got up to examine it.
As he neared, he smiled and picked the small trinket up in his claws.
Sea glass, he mused, and turquoise too.
It fit him perfectly, near mimicking the crystallised sheen of his opal.

With one last look over across the rippling sea, he dipped his head goodbye to the company of the shore, and took off hastily towards home.

There is pleasure in the pathless woods, there is rapture in the lonely shore, there is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar; I love not Man the less, but Nature more. — Lord Byron

"Scene: sandswept delta" fits better aesthetically, but Scene: Shoreline Serenity is more lore accurate.
