CHRYSALIS
wanderer | curious | timid | slow Uh-oh, looks like this colourful lad wandered a little too far from his home lair (147840, nitsuj), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful! |
Chrysalis hopes to travel the world with his familiar, a Flutterbun!

February 21, 2019 ~ I have to say, this traveling thing is pretty cool. At least so far, even though it's early yet. My first stop was at a Water Clan where there was such a wide variety of dragons that I continuously found someone new and interesting to talk to. Every day was a new adventure. Those dragons really knew how to have fun!
One of my favorites was Yuda. That guy was such a hoot! Always joking around, playing practical jokes, getting everyone to laugh. He was the life of the party everywhere we went. I can't help but think, though, that he uses a lot of his humor to cover up something that makes him feel sad. He never talked about it, but once in a while, I'd catch him looking kind of down, just staring off into the distance. I didn't ask about it, but maybe I should have. It just didn't seem like the kind of things guys do... talking about their feelings and all.
I was tempted to stay even longer than I did, but there is still so much more of the world to see. I can only hope that the rest of it is as fun and exciting as my time spent in Clan Kemperloche.
February 23, 2019 ~ What can I say about the Magpie Clan? I had such an amazing time there. The best part of it was meeting Aelwen, of course. She's the mother of my children: Yunia, Sullie & Pyotr. Such a smart and classy dragoness! And the hatchlings! Such beauties. I just know they'll go far in life.
The clan was small and welcoming, located on the outskirts of the Earth Territory. I was welcomed warmly by the Patriarchs and shown to the Dragonhome Bed & Breakfast, where I stayed in the utmost of comfort. There were lots of things to do and see, including the Healing Cavern where I soaked in the underground springs to ease my sore flying muscles.
While I was there, they celebrated the opening of their brand new Adoption Agency and I was able to help welcome the first two hatchlings to their new accommodations while awaiting a forever home. It was quite exciting and completely different from the picture I had in my head of what an Adoption Agency would look like. Those kids had everything advantage available to them so they could arrive at their new Clans as valuable members of society.
It was with a bit of a sad heart that I left them, but I knew that my children would be well taken care of. The clan threw a nice farewell party for me during which they gave me some Forest Green Wing Wraps that had been soaked in the Healing Springs to absorb its properties. Those will come in handy as I still have a long journey ahead of me.
Someday, I'd love to come back to visit, but for now, I am off to my next adventure.
