The Ice Dweller

Crystal Jellyfish
Blue Quartz
Haunting Houndskull
Frosty in both appearance and manner, Pagos considers himself more of a guardian of his clan than a part of it. He keeps to the shadows and fringes, always alert for any sign of a threat. He generally avoids the thick of clan life, and as a result is somewhat rigid in his interactions. While he seems frigid, in reality Pagos is more shy and solitary than anything else.

While he cares for all the members of his clan equally, Pagos keeps an especially close watch over the clan's youngest members. Hatchlings are generally afraid of him, which he doesn't mind too much. He wouldn't know what to do with a hatchling were one to approach him, and he finds they mind his directions to stay out of trouble better that way.

While he's not widely liked due to his solitary nature, his clan trusts Pagos to protect them from any approaching danger. He's proven his loyalty on many an occasion, and while some consider him rather unfriendly, all know they can turn to him for help in times of trouble. If they can find him, that is; he prefers to fade into the snowy background whenever possible.

@Regenherz: Such a great looking Ice themed dragon :3 I absolutely love the outfit you put together for him! Also like how well his colours match, his Prim and Sec work great together with that gene combo and the Sky Glimmer is just the cherry on the top :3 Cornflower Bee is such a delight for the eyes and it fits the Mistlurker's Garb so well :3

@Dabeluga: (fav dragon thread) Probably this boi! He looks so tough and defensive!

@Coexistence: Pagos looks like a ferocious icy beast! I love his role and personality - a shy and solitary guard?! Yes please. His genes and colors are lovely - can we take a moment to appreciate cornflower bee? It's so deep and beautiful, aaa! The layering you've got going on is unique and clever. I love how the lion's face blends into his own. And the metal chains match his tail cuffs perfectly! He's got a matching familiar too - extra points for that! The moodboard in his bio sums him up well and is very pleasing to the eye.

@Aquira: bro hes kinda hot. the apparel looks so nice and matches the aesthetic really well. also love that headdress, it makes him look vv fierce. the brown and white are so nice together and his familiar is hella cute.

-He loves trees, the evergreens of the ice territory are his preferred choice of tree. He'll climb up one and sit in the higher branches to keep watch over the lair.
-He's great at tracking and picking up scents no matter how old they are. He can track an elk in no time at all.
-He's become really good at making igloos, like too good.
-There's others "loner" dragons out in the ice territory and he knows about them, sometimes he smells their scent on the wind. He doesn't fear them but he keeps his guard up when he knows they're a few miles too close to him.
-At night he sees things in the snow, sometimes he wonders if they're really there. He can't explain them to anyone.
-He's see a Tundra bigger than a tree before but no one believes him. He says it's eyes glowed and its teeth were like sharp icicles.
-He's fought a bear twice his size before and won.

Your Pagos And My Baashir

46934263.png

Baashir watched his weery clan with close eyes. The frozen tundra was the roughest part of the clan's treck. The snowflakes battered his tired clanmates, but they all were aware they wouldn't survive if they stopped for a moment. He shuddered slightly as he snuck through the snow. The other guards were at their posts, but Baashir had to circle the moving clan. That was due to the fact he was the only guard with night vision.

His eyes wandered across the frozen land, and for a moment he thought he caught a glimpse of something. A large shape in the distant that looked suspiciously like a dragon, but it vanished just as quickly.... How odd...

A few minutes later the clan huddled together. The exhaustion was too much for the large group and so they bundled together for warmth. The guards however were told to stand guard still just in case. Baashir however truly didn't mind keeping watch. If those... Horrible fiery creatures did return then the clan would surely need him.

The shadowy figure appeared once more. It was fairly close but it didn't cower. It surely thought no one could see it, but Baashir was not easily fooled. He let out a low growl and lunged forward in fear that this was another fiery creature however when he hit a solid body he wasn't so sure.

The two tumbled through the snow. The one figure was struggling beneath Baashir, but the spiral was eyeing the stranger curiously. It was a brilliant white wildclaw with a lion head atop his skull. He was brilliant, and Baashir felt his heart leap in his chest. He quickly got off the wildclaw with a nervous laugh. "So sorry I thought you were a meddling creature. Are you alright?"

The wildclaw got up and shook the snow off of himself. His eyes narrowed slightly at Baashir but he replied stiffly, "I'm fine. No thanks to you. Now what are you doing in my clan's territory?"

Baashir blinked at such a forward remark before smiling once again. "We're just trying to make our way back home and decided to rest here for the night. I promise we won't be around long mister..." He trailed off realizing he never quite caught the name of the wildclaw. "Hey what is your name? Mine's Baashir!"

The wildclaw eyed the spiral curiously before finally replying, "Pagos."

Baashir's smile grew as Pagos gave his name. "That's a stunning name for a stunning individual. If you wish you can make sure we leave your territory. No one will mind one bit, and I'm quite keen on getting to know you!"

Pagos found that oddly enough he was curious about these bands of strangers. Especially this energetic spiral before him. "I suppose I shall, but I will not make myself known to others."

"Well suit yourself then,"Baashir rumbled.

So the two talked to each other through the nights. Well truthfully Baashir did most of the talking, and Pagos found himself listening very intently to the spiral. However they had finally gotten to the edge of the territory and so the two had to say goodbyes.

Baashir smiled at the wildclaw one last time and rumbled, "I'll come visit you Pagos. I don't think I've ever had such a great listener... Not to mention a good looking one at that. So don't think you've gotten rid of me yet."

Pagos found himself chuckling for once. His eyes sparkled as he responded, "I wouldn't dare think about it."

First up is Your boy Pagos and my boy CrowDazzle

This is the song I'm using <3

When the clan had been invited to the icy domain for a 'party', they naturally brought Crow along. He was their resident music master, and what was a party without some music? The invite had been rather vague, not giving hint of what sort of venue or even theme they were walking into. As so he fluffed up his feather, preened, and brought all sorts of playlists. The flight was atleast enjoyable, being able to glide out of the sweltering heat and into the cool icy breeze. They made it to a rather large igloo community, some might even say it was an ice palace with smaller igloos surrounding it. The greetings were brief and they were brought out of the cold and into the more tolerable temperatures within the ice palace.

Left to his own devices, Crow set up the list and out on a more upbeat ballroom list as he saw nice silks and lace flowing about with their hosts. This was to be a 'fancy soiree' he was told at the start, no loud or obnoxious music. Crow could already feel his exhaustion at the mere thought of having to act 'civilized' with these complete strangers. Once he got the music situated and going, he promptly left back out the front door.

The skydancer felt more at home with raves or concerts, where you could throw your body about and no one would care. Here, they were expected to follow rules and manners. Yuck! Finding a nice little spot a few steps away from the entrance and sheltered from the wind, Crow pulled out his herb stick. Placed between his teeth and with a few snaps of his sharpened claws, the stick was lite. The skydancer was only able to get a few puffs in before a voice startled him into dropping the stick to the icy ground.

"Shouldn't you be inside?" Crow grasped his chest, spinning around to stare at a stoic looking wildclaw. The male stared him down despite being a little bit smaller than the skydancer, an icy silence filling the space between them. Crow looked down at his herb stick, cursing as he saw it had extinguished. Crud.

"Didn't anyone teach you it's rude to sneak up on others?" Crow bit back, ****** now that he wasn't able to get his smoke.

"You need to be inside." The wildclaw gruffed, stepping forward. Was he trying to herd him back inside? Crowdazzle chuckled, oh, how cute.

"Only if you come back inside with me, Hot stuff." It was a joke at first, a quick quip to throw the other off. What he was not expecting was to see the pink rise under that fur and go into a covered face.

"Wait, are you blushing?" Crow grinned, this time taking a step forward and now sending the other back. The skydancer chuckled as the wildclaw turned his head, looking away. oh, this was too good!

"Listen, I'll go inside....only if you treat me to a dance. All the stiffs in there probably wouldn't look twice at me. So you'll do." He puffed himself up, flashing feathers at the other in a bowing gesture. A tune picked up in the background, softly wafting from the party inside.

"Fine....but than we go back inside. Deal?" The wildclaw grunted, extending his hand out into what he thought was going to be a handshake. Crow grinned, taking the hand and pulling the other close. Very close.

"Deal!" He swung the poor blushing male around, following along to the chorus. Eventually he got the other to laugh and loosen up a little, eventually making his own calls on taking the lead or being lead. The two danced and swirled, keeping close, always touching. Their feet and sweeping wings left marks in the snow, softly falling snow trying its best to cover them back up. He could tell the other was fairly shy, a little rigid, but perhaps in time he could get him to loosen up completely.

"We'll make a dancer out of you yet, hot stuff." Crow grinned as he received an exhausted sigh from the other.

"Pagos. My name is Pagos, not hot stuff." The song started to slow, Crow unable to take his eyes off the other. Pagos, the Greek word for Ice. How befitting. Their song started to slow, the end near. With a final turn and sweep, Crow took a step back and bowed.

"Thank you for honoring me with this dance, Pagos. As promised, i will head back inside." Crow turned, ready to head inside, herb stick all but forgotten on the snowy ground.

"Wait!" He stopped, looking over his shoulder at the disappointed looking male. Pagos shuffled his feet a little, seeming unsure of himself.

"Whats your name?"

"Ah yes...well, that was not part of the deal, now was it? How about we make another? I'll tell you my name if you come inside with me to help make my time at this horribly dull party a little more enjoyable? Deal?" Crow extended a hand out, this time offering it first. Pagos hesitated, eyes shifting from the outstretched hand and back to the snowy landscape. Finally they landed back on Crow, he puffed himself up, and reached to take the outstretched hand.

"Deal."

((He gets two more dances out of the poor boy before telling him his name lol))
