As one of the demigods of the Corvidae Coelum, Charis is a wildclaw of immense power, much like those he surrounds himself with. Unfortunately, he’s also a luxurious dragon who enjoys indulging in riches and wealth, much to the chagrin of his fellow clan members. The wildclaw has a strong love for fancy silks and glinting jewels, draping himself in finery at every possible occasion. He even ended up carrying a rapier around at all times, despite having no real need for it! When prompted by one dragon or another, Charis would always defend himself by claiming to be a talented fighter when caught in dire dangers.

However, regardless of whether his warrior claims are true or false, Charis’ true demigod powers lie in his performing abilities. The wildclaw is a gifted dancer, moving swiftly through complicated routines while wrapped in swishing silks and jewels. His ability to capture a crowd’s attention is unparalleled by any other being, save for perhaps the deities themselves. With every step he takes, unfurling his wings as he twirls, the dragons watching him often find themselves falling in love.

Charis’ dance skills can’t make up for his personality, however. The wildclaw can come off as rude and egocentric even among all the demigods, sometimes even bragging to be the best due to his swift dancing and beautiful looks. Most of his clanmates call him a narcissist despite Charis’ own arguments against the label.

While Charis frequently comes off as self-absorbed and ill-mannered, the wildclaw has been shown to have softer moments, though these are far and few between. Perhaps the most prominent example of this unlikely kindness is his soft spot towards a peculiar coalt working at the archives of Port Arietesia, a choice in protege so peculiar that every dragon around him can’t stop questioning him about it. After all, with an entire group of talented performers situated around the port city, why choose an organic mage with a god complex large enough to rival his own? To that, nobody knows the answer — not even Charis himself.

Charis’ Trick-of-the-light is his best buddy and the only being in the Corvidae Coelum he’ll ever be soft and sweet around. It’s common to see the two cuddling, with Charis affectionately cooing and calling out his familiar’s name — Edelweiss, named after the plant of the same name, signifying courage and devotion. Perhaps their name is that because they appeared to Charis during his darkest hours, but as the wildclaw refuses to elaborate on his mysterious past, that is all his clanmates know about his fluffy mirage fox.
