Hey Mom and Dad,
How are you? I've heard the situation at Windkeep has stabilised. I may not have much memories from my brief time there, but I miss you all. Are you still performing? I really want to see your performances! Right now, I'm drawn to music - I hope you approve. I just can't see how anyone could live without those beautiful tunes! Still working out a niche for myself here, although my new home has been nothing but kind to me.
Did you know, just a few days back another hatchling from Windkeep Tower came by? His name is Wyrakor, and he's Kipling's and Rori's son. It's so exciting to have a child of the "heroes" I've heard about here! He carries the scent of Wind.I miss home, even if I've never known it. (This part is crossed out with ink so silver that it obscures the dark cursive on the page.)
I hope to see you soon.
Yours, always
Apollo

Dear Mum and Dad,
It’s so nice to hear from you! Right now I’m researching into the different types of music, as well as those long forgotten... the annals mentioned something called pop music? And of course, there is the mostly well-known classical music genre. I hope to explore both and find someone who knows more about these different strands of music (and perhaps make music of my own).
I guess Thornspine has always been more comfortable backstage. Perhaps you should let him be, after all the theatre has flourished pretty well with him as the backstage crew. I will look out for any Wind eggs that aren’t where they’re supposed to be.
I bought this green ribbon from a trade stand the other day, and thought you might want to use it as costume, so I’ve attached it in my letter. By the way, Vermilion and Sundown ask about their daughter Aata: they hope she’s adjusting well to her new clan and career. Wyrakor has also attached his note to all of you at the bottom, but I do suggest patience in reading it for his capability for writing is, at the moment, not too impressive.
Please write back, it’s been nice to hear from you.
Love,
Apollo

Dear Mum and Dad,
I'm glad we think alike! Currently, I'm studying classical music which Lightwing happens to know about. However in my spare time I do enjoy listening to pop music - particularly a "Chinese" version. Whatever that means. Apparently there was this flashy show (maybe it was a musical?) long ago called The Greatest Showman with spectacular tunes like "A Million Dreams", "Never Enough", "Rewrite the Stars" and "This Is Me". Great mood boosters. It comes highly recommended.
Sorry I can't write much nowadays, Wyrakor's becoming more and more curious (and difficult to corral). He's out flying at the moment, I think he might just become a magician or a sidekick of one. Lucas might be a bit of a trickster, but he takes good care of the tiny Fae.
Come visit soon, will you?
