Oimqa

One of the clan's black mages, specializing in destructive spells. Naturally, Oimqa's talent is calling forth bolts of electricity. She has great interest in catalysts, and will often go scavenging about for new materials to try channeling her magic through. Though her zeal has lead to a few interesting discoveries (for the more scientifically-minded dragons, anyway), her experiments with magical channelling have been restricted to outside the lair at a safe distance ever since "The Kitchen Incident".

It's an unfortunate side effect of her preoccupation that few know exactly what she is on about when discussing her studies, but she seems rather oblivious to this fact and will continue her one-sided discussion as though the person is on exactly the same page as she is. If nothing else, one can suppose it's flattering that she assumes the best and smartest of everyone. Eccentric but not unfriendly, if you can manage to weather her enthusiastic babbling about "energies being bent to Silman's Degree with asymmetrical poly combinations aiding in the fission of verbal polymetry's arcane affectations for amplified output" then you'll find it hard to be glum around her.
