Khimi had burst into tears one morning, after discovering that her pearl had disappeared the previous night. "It's alright," Betu had reassured, "we'll look for it." It wasn't long before she and her sibling were lost in the tundra, too.

By the time she get's to the clans hide out, she was cold and scared. No pearl, no life.

Khimi was alone, her sister's were no where; lost to the chilled winds and frosty grounds. She was calling out, no... crying out for anyone, just a hatchling when she was lost to the wild tundra. She lives off scraps and frozen plants that fill her stomach with little to nothing.

But Khimi didn't stop, she keep going till she reached the vast sea's, not any better then the cold dead land behind her. She started to whimpered, even more so when she forced her wings open. They was frozen shut due to the snow and ice, it malted her wings to her body, glued them to her small, limb body.

Khimi wasn't the one to stop. She teared her wings open and felt the chilled winds hit her backs. A sigh left her broken mouth, "I'm free... finally" as she flapped her wings once. A cry tared its way to the empty lands as the muscles screamed but she did it again, yet again till her body lifted off of her death bed.... then she screamed out in pure joy.

"I'm... I'm doing it! I'm flying!!!" She let out another cheer and raced off into the sky, she flew and flew till her wings tired, her body ached for rest and her stomach screamed for any type of food. She knew she would drop dead if she was to keep going, so she lightly touched her paws to the ground. A feeling of joy and enjoyment filled her as she felt grass between her toes. She has landed in Zephyr Steppes, the land of wonders from her childhood story's.

She looks around as the breeze flows through her fur, the smells of calming food and the laughter of hatchlings makes her eyes water. She has never heard such kind and clean places before.... So she walks, follows the sounds, the colors, the beaten road where many have walked before. Familiars hooves and paws show the use of mounts, even carriages have gone down this path. She smiles, her first real smile since her birth, when she would play with her cluthmates, playfully fighting and the game of chasing bugs.

Soon, Khimi finds herself with other's, of all breeds. She see's grand Imperial and small, nimble Spiral's. Khimi's eyes have grown to a hatchlings again, wide and curious.... innocent.
