Rarely seen without her mask, Lucia is an elusive type who follows the Lightweaver's voice. She travels alone, and at night for the most part- unusual for someone born from Light.
Lucia is not shy- yet, she has a crippling fear of crowds. She cannot bear the thought of being watched and judged; feeling as though others see reasons to isolate her. Her anxiety is so great that she has adopted such odd travelling habits, despite the fact that she is desperate to not be lonely. She is skittish and a bit nervous around strangers, but she can generally handle small meetings. Lucia shows herself to be an earnest, if reserved, type. She is honest and genuine, with an optimistic outlook on things for the most part. Lucia is kind and gentle, and those who know her look up to her. Though, she is a rather fierce fighter- she is nimble and athletic, wielding a rapier with the utmost grace.

Born in the Hewn City, Lucia's brand was immediately apparent from the day she was born. However, the joy and pride her parents would have had was quickly stifled. as the goddess herself stated that she was to be left on the river cutting the territory in half. Putting what faith they had in her, they followed the order, setting their child afloat in a cradle on the river. And by her blessing, Lucia made it to the Sea of a Thousand Currents alive. There, she was brought in by those who had forseen her arrival.
Despite her acceptance, she was still a Light-born in the submerged city. Unable to live with those who had brought her in, she lived her life above the water's surface, where the travellers and outsiders constantly came and went. Lacking a steadfast family, Lucia grew more and more isolated as she stared into the depths of the water. Some children picked on her for being an orphaned child- who may have been cursed. Despite her best efforts, she could never shut out the growing fear that she truly was abandoned for being weak or cursed.
Seeking any comfort, Lucia was naturally drawn to the Altar- even in seeking brotherhood, she was a lonely disciple of the Lightweaver in the Tidelord's domain. She often drowned herself in her training, alone for fear of the eyes judging her. She was an adult by the time she finally heard the Lightweaver's voice again, compelling her to leave on a journey.
