Biography
Morph looks UNFAIRLY good on you
You're a bit apprehensive as you walk up to the forest. Although many clans are welcoming trick-or-treaters, the Tangled Wood still makes you shiver a bit as you enter its shadows. "Now, where was that lair again?" you mutter, checking the map.
The Foxfire Bramble blocks out much of the light from above. Luckily, several clans have set out lanterns among a small path carved out among the thorns. You shrink in as much as you can, not eager to let your wings touch the bramble patches.
Trees sprout up here and there in the bramble thicket, dark pines spreading their branches up to the starlit sky. Tiny mushrooms also provide markings for the path, glowing faintly in the darkness. Even if it's dangerous here, it still has a dark beauty.
Finally, you reach where the map has marked the Darksong Clan to be. But as you glance around, you don't see any possible entrances. Are they hidden, or have you been led on a wild goose chase?
You look up suddenly when you hear wingbeats. A Nocturne swoops down from the tree branches above, landing with a flourish of his scarf. Strangely, he seems to have autumn leaves floating around him, perhaps they came from another part of the forest?
"Welcome!" he says cheerily. "I'm the greeter for the Darksong Clan during this month of trick-or-treating. My full name is Skellington, but you can call me Skelly. Now, is there anything specific you'd like as a gift?"
Nox enchanted him a special box, which she calls her "goody box". It looks like a normal rusted chest from the outside, but when you open it and stick your claws in, you can feel all sorts of materials and items floating inside. Basically, Skelly can access the clan's hoard from the box, and uses it to gift the trick-or-treaters coming to meet him!
The nocturne standing outside spreads his wings in greeting. "Welcome!" he says with a cheerful grin. "Now, let's see what the goody box has in store for you."
He plunges his arm into a rusted chest by his side, drawing out several items and offering them to the dragon in front of him.
"Ah, - a good choice! I hope it's to your liking," he smiles. The other dragon turns away, but not before the nocturne gives a farewell wave. "Enjoy the rest of your trick-or-treating!" he calls out.
