Cyanide Zombie Prince Theme: X Mate: Pascal Mate: Adonya Adopted Daughter: Splat |
Nestled close to the heart of Plague Flight lived a kingdom of devout followers of the Plaguebringer. They followed her teachings to the letter and punished those who dared to defy their goddess. The kingdom thrived for years as their power extended into the surrounding lairs. Then one day the prince pearlcatcher of their kingdom stumbled upon a lost tundra from Shadow. As the two spoke, the prince realized the tundra had no chance of surviving in the desolate wastelands of Plague. The prince was then faced with a dilemma. The teachings of Plaguebringer says that only the strongest are allowed to survive, however as he gazed down at the tundra, he was smitten with the dragon. After debating for a while he finally agreed to lead the tundra to safety. The others who had traveled along side him were not pleased with his decision.
As thanks for his rescue, the tundra agreed to meet with the prince on the border of Plague on a monthly basis. The tundra introduced himself as Pascal and admitted that he too was smitten with the prince. The two dragons grew close as their feelings blossomed into true love, but the kingdom the prince thought he was in charge of grew cold and distant to him. His followers concocted a plan they believed to be sent down from Plaguebringer herself. They would poison the prince's drink and if he survived then he is still worthy of holding the throne. That night, the prince drank from his goblet and died a slow, painful death upon his throne. His clan sat in silence and watched as he moved no more. The dragons were gone by morning light. Pascal, true to his tundra nature, steadily forgot about his love as their monthly meetings stopped without warning. He eventually moved on completely and could no longer remember what was so important about those days.
Years passed until one day a mirror stumbled upon the abandoned ruins. She slipped inside, grabbing anything and everything of value until she reached the throne room. The still dead prince clutched his gleaming pearl in his cold hand. She made a move to steal it and suddenly golden Light Flight magic swirled though the imperial bones that made up the prince's throne. The magic was absorbed by his body and the prince opened his eyes to reveal one of Plague and one of Light. He snapped a few of the bones and weaved them into his gnarled mane. Then he consumed the would be thief. The prince left the kingdom behind and searched across the lands for Pascal. Desperate to reunite with his love, he ignored the shock and disgust of the dragons who crossed his path. Plague dragons spat at his feet and the prince refused to give them even an ounce of his time. Steadily paving his path to the deserts of Lightning Flight.
