Biography
Arari
Clan leader |
In the dark of night, Arari left her home despite her parents’ wishes. She left, traveling off the beaten path to search for a clan to join. She faced against nature, beastclans, rogue dragons and more, dangers she had never gone up against while living--literally- like royalty. Arari came upon many clans while traveling, but she would quickly leave soon after arriving as none were ever really just right for her. So, for a few months, Arari was forced to wander across Sornieth searching for the perfect clan for her. Finally, after so much time spent searching, Arari gave up on finding the perfect clan. Rather than settle for any random clan that happened to meet some of the standards she had, she decided that she wanted to try and create and mold her perfect clan instead. So, within the Sunbeam Ruins, ever so slowly Arari brought back dragons of all breeds and ages to join her clan. With each new dragon, the clan expanded both in territory and power, and ever so slowly Arari started to form into a respectable clan leader. One day, when Arari’s clan was big enough for her to be able to send groups out while still having enough dragons to hang back and help out around the clan, a recruitment team that was searching for new dragons to join the clan came back with someone that caught her eye. Amongst the four other Imperials, the one with the wings as bright as fire caught her eye. Even though the Imperial wasn’t much different from the other ones he had arrived with, Arari couldn’t seem to get her mind off of him. So, for a little while, she chose to ignore him. She would coldly regard him, acting as though he were nothing other than a little speck in the sea of dragons in her clan. Eventually, though, the bold Imperial managed to strike a conversation with Arari, introducing himself as Viridian. Viridian, surprisingly, wanted to be a healer. Even with his gentle looks, his large size and strength seemed to imply to most that he was just naturally a fighter. Of course, Arari could relate. Most who look at her simply assume that she is a delicate and haughty royal--or, at least, former-royal-- that wouldn’t even be able to fight off an attacker if the situation arose. Most dragons do learn of the blunt, unapologetic Pearlcatcher who doesn’t even give the status of her being a noble the time of day. New dragons often disrespect and underestimate the tough, dominant leader of the clan, and they learn the hard way not to disrespect the clan leader who had created the clan from the ground up. Over time, Arari grew closer and closer to Viridian. Or, well, Viridian grew closer and closer to Arari--she kept trying to ignore him and block his attempts at communication repeatedly, though she eventually let him in beyond the blockade she had set around herself. As time went on, Arari noticed that she was starting to adore Viridian more and more, which eventually blossomed into romantic affection. By then, the clan was quite large enough, and Arari decided she could settle down from her frantic life of diplomacy and responsibility… Just for a little while. She decided to have hatchlings with her mate, Viridian, and her first set of eggs gave three beautiful Pearlcatchers that resembled their parents. Morwen, the strong bronze-haired heir that resembled her father in appearance but her mother in personality. Lindir, the soft light-haired middle sibling that was as beautiful as the sun’s rays shining in the forest on a warm summer morning. Estel, the shining golden-haired youngest sibling with an intelligence that rivalled even his father’s and eyes as sharp as his wit. Viridian, their hatchlings and her clan are Arari’s greatest achievements and her pride rests in them. Sometimes, Viridian brings up the subject of Arari’s past. She, in response, would get uncharacteristically anxious before answering his questions. She has yet to tell him the full truth of her past--not because she doesn’t want to, but because she hasn’t found the right opportunity to explain it all. It seems that no one cares, though, as every clanmember simply sees Arari as their strong clan leader who has lead them through the worst situations unfazed, and the former royal is happy with that. |
