Deidrie is a erinnye, working for the royal family of the nymphs. She was appointed to take care of Mael, the fiance of the princess, when she was a young girl and Mael still a baby. Since then she is always at his side or at least near enough to see what he is doing.

Deidrie was trained since she was born, is a skilled fighter and good tactician. Like her parents and most of her kind she became a body guard for the aristocratic nymph family. This meant a strict training schedule with several weapons for her.
Deidrie knows Mael really well, even his darker and hidden sides. Since she is obliged to stay quiet about everything he tells her, their conversations are blunt and honest.
She gets along well with Mael and even tells him when she thinks that his decision is not a good idea – at least when they are alone in the room.
Never would she tell, but she often does not like what he is doing or planning, but she consider him as a kind of friend nevertheless.
She likes Aiven a lot, played with him when he was little. Bryn and her are friends, although they have only little time for conversations.
