Gecko is an young adult bog whose egg was found in a river near the swamp he lives with his family, it was early spring and his mother Marsh Frog had just layed her eggs for this year as she stumbled upon the egg.
She knew dragons dont mean harm to amphibians and acually were quiet friendly fellas, so she was worried why the egg was alone here, so she claimed to care for the egg until its parents would return.

That, sadly, never happend and the egg hatched one day while she was sitting on it, so Marsh Frog, not knowing what to do, alerted the other frogs and the Elder (Wartoad) to discuss the situation and it was decided they would raise the hatchling as one of thier own and just explain it later when they think the time is right.
