Ashe arrived to the Howling Night Song Clan's lands as a wanderer. Though she had mysterious background that no one could get any information on, she must have come from some sort of royalty. She was regal in every sense of the word and eloquent in a way that common folk could never be. She would have moved on past their clan if it was not for Ori. Something about him caught her attention, but none of the clan quite understood how the two of them got along since they were of very different backgrounds.

Unknown to her, but since Ori had been single for much of his life and never showing any interest in anyone, the clan welcomed her on behalf of his happiness. The two of them spent much time together and she showed an amazing skill in cloth craft, which she used to create beautiful pieces of clothing and light armor. For the clan, she made pieces that were perfect, using her intuition to figure out what that individual liked and incorporated it into her work's design. These gestures, given freely despite the painstaking amount of time put into it, were noticed and the clan slowly came to like her and accept her more as their own.

When her first clutch of eggs arrived, she took on the role of being the clan medic when she laid her first clutch of eggs. Ashe was a watchful and caring mother, but the clan and Ori never realized the reason why she took up medicine. When the hatchlings were born and none bore her perfection, she quietly sent them away. Sacrifices to the Gods with a prayer for a better clutch the next time around. The reason that she gave to the clan and Ori was that they did not survive hatching due to an disease that she bore in her blood. An illness that only went dormant if the child was not perfection in coloration like herself.
