Scan is a.. strange case. Born to Gnawer and Marburg, she was always destined to be a vector of the plague. She had always held an admiration of the beings in the sky, for they were graceful in flight. How they swirled and twirled! Why couldn't she be like that? When a wandering Wildclaw rode past, Scan, then unnamed, had to follow. She eventually found herself in a crossroads between Earth and Wind, a stretch of islands that felt off. From there, the wandering Fae found herself in Wind territory.

Straying into unknown territory had taken its toll on the small Fae. To counteract the inevitable rot that awaited her, she sacrificed her memories for mechanical implants that would slow and eventually cease her foretold doom. Having no memory of who she was or where she was, the dragon-zombie had named herself after her prime directive; to scan and learn more about the world. With new eyes, and a new body, the self-named Scan took flight, joining the one thing she longed to join.
