Ase is the third daughter of Ragnar and Lorelai -- a hatchling that was always eager to please with a sweet, melodic voice. Ase was always more soft, more feminine and nurturing but it wouldn't stop her from doing what needed to be done. She is the welcoming face when new hatchlings join the Auriga Hatchery and a teacher to the youngsters and her descendants. She can be a hard taskmistress, but her lessons and love tend to follow those in her care and she is not averse to hosting descendants for a time until they find their home. She attracted Eirik at a young age, singing a cryptic song from the sea and he has blessed her with nine hatchlings. She is still mourning her fallen firstborn but knows that he has gone on to serve the Tides in a worthy fashion. She has a fierce love for her children who serve the Tidelord and knows that their siblings will carry on the bloodline in their absence. As a child of the founders, Ase believes in the blood purity and will push those impure ones harder than the others -- her three youngest daughters she pushes even harder. She holds all of her children and descendants to a high standard. |
