"....." ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ Born into a society where one's species defines their life, Banditaccia sought something greater. Disregarding her land's ancient order and taboos, the former Fae underwent transformation so that she may be allowed to pursue the cherished title of a warrior. Her secret was discovered though, this well-regarded champion was forced to flee her home. • There are some clans where dragon roles are largely relegated by their species. Not common, but certainly not unheard of. Especially at Dragonhome due to a reverence for tradition. • For Banditaccia's particular clan, warriors are regarded as the divine protectors of the land. Their position holds the highest rank of prestige outside of nobility. Dependent upon one's rank, they are allowed to court nobles. • Unless one is believed to be favored by Earthshaker and displays unusual magic capabilities, this role is reserved for larger breeds such as Guardians, Imperials, Ridgebacks, etc. due to their sheer size and strength. • She was born a Fae and possessed little magic. Breed changing is deemed as disrespecting one's ordained role within society and punishable by execution. Things went fine initially. She managed to move up the ranks and was well-regarded, but someone discovered her secret and revealed it to the council. With a bit of help, she escaped her prison and fled. • She moved from place-to-place afterwards, and at some point joined a clan in the Sunbeam Ruins. It was here she meet a mate and has her first clutch. Just one hatchling, but Banditaccia was elated. Her child would grow in a place where the ability to choose one's path in life is not taken from her. Hence she named her "Joy".

Headcanons by Disillusionist:
- works as an exalt recruiter, mostly handling the interview part of the job
- usually found working alongside Mesarthim, whom she supervises. She doesn't particularly like Mesa and thinks the Fae is somewhat unstable, but sticks with her to keep her out of trouble.
- hides her pre-Guardian past. She is wary about being accosted by agents from her birth clan. She knows this fear is probably unfounded, but old habits die hard.
- A few of her clan members do know about it. She initially considered sharing this information with Mesarthim, but decided it would probably be wiser not to after seeing Mesa's unhealthy fixation on breed-changing.
