► ABOUT Olympe was born in the Southern Icefield many centuries ago. She joined a team of alchemists; like many dragons in the same field at the time, their goal was immortality. She and her team found it -- or something like it. The elixir they created was imperfect, and while it did extend their lifespans indefinitely, it didn't make them invincible. It also reacted strangely with different kinds of magic: In Olympe's case, most of the time she looked like an ordinary old Wildclaw. When moonlight fell upon her, however, it showed her as her true decayed self, a wraith of shriveled flesh and bones. The fuller the moon, the clearer the image was. Many of her teammates suffered similar ill effects, and they soon scattered, either fearing persecution or seeking a cure for their afflictions. Olympe herself learned to hide her condition. She remained in the Southern Icefield, but the long nights posed a danger to her, and soon she decided to move abroad. She was still very much a scholar, and her love of knowledge soon drew her to the Sunbeam Ruins. She eventually found work among the Disillusionists, replacing Tantris as School Headmaster. Olympe overhauled the clan's curriculum, expanding it to include other fields and subjects. She also created DAILIES (Disillusionists-Affiliated Instructors and Lecturers in Education and Sciences), a group comprised of instructors and lecturers affiliated with the clan. Olympe struggled to hide her more monstrous form, but her secret was soon discovered by Tobias. He encouraged her to divulge her history to the clan. This she did, and to her relief, it didn't prove to be a problem. The Disillusionists were happy to have her, and she remains here today, continually working to bring in new instructors and organize lessons for clan members and neighbors alike. Personality summarized by Tues wrote:

Tantris | Predecessor, Colleague As the first Headmaster of the clan, Tantris was particularly helpful towards Olympe and was pleased to have her take over from him. He has no qualms about being subordinate to her now and is still happy to give her advice, and even happier to conduct music classes for any students she refers to him. |

Tobias | Friend One of Olympe's first few friends when she joined the Disillusionists. It was Tobias who later uncovered her secret and who encouraged her to divulge the information to the rest of the clan. He and the Headmistress remain supportive of each other, and they frequently sit down together to enjoy some tea. |

Saikuras | Friend As another Ice-born (or Ice-made) dragon with a scholarly but murky past, Saikuras and Olympe have a lot in common. They enjoy sharing stories and information with each other and have even been known to get into misadventures together. |

Ordas | Friend When Olympe encountered another dragon burdened with eternal life, it came as a relief to her, and she and Ordas became friends. They kept in touch over the centuries, and when an alliance offer came from Interstellar, Olympe was quick to vouch for her friend's clan. She and Ordas normally keep in touch via mail, but the Headmistress also enjoys visiting her old friend when her schedule permits. |
