» Born orphaned, flightless, and mutant, September was dealt a terrible hand by life. Despite his situation, he somehow manages to still be a sweet and cheerful dragon. He is naturally shy, and aware that his extra eyes are intimidating, but he is always looking for a friend.

» September was born of an illicit affair within the clan. As an egg, he was dropped on the doorstep of Helga, who raised him along with a group of fodder hatchlings. Because he was the only egg in his clutch, and was born with a multitude of extra eyes, some dragons say he was cursed as a result of his parents' sins.

» He is bound to the ground as a Snapper, but September is a clever dragon. He trained diligently under Zuzu to become a pilot in his own right, and has taken over as official pilot of the Potbelly since his death.

» Though he was raised well by Helga, September is still an orphan. The whole clan knows that both his parents live among them, but neither have spoken up to claim him. Though he desperately wants to know his true family, he does not search them out. He fears that doing so would amplify their shame and regret towards him.
