Eridanus is a skilled sorceress of illusion, a lady with great taste in aesthetic appearances and a critical eye for details. Ever since she was a hatchling, she had been fascinated with all things glittery and shiny - her parents had a hard time stopping her from practically becoming a gem thief. She loved scrapping together all kinds of materials to create the most beautiful of ornaments, and displaying them on her fellow clan mates and the occasional ~~unwilling~~ familiar. While it was clear that she was destined to become a great and talented craftswoman, it was not an easy journey to discover - for Eridanus' claws were shaky and clumsy, unable to master the delicate arts of jewelcrafting and tailoring, which frustrated her greatly.

In her anger, she packed all her belongings and left her original clan, hoping to find some way that she could make the world more beautiful, that her uncoordinated claws could not ruin. Her travels took her into the forests of the Tangled Wood, where she eventually stumbled upon a Shadow Witch that created horrible and mean illusions in an attempt to drive off unwanted visitors. Though the Skydancer was sent off many times by these magical tricks, she was determined to speak to the witch and convince her to teach her the arts of magic, so that perhaps she can use it for her own purposes. After many moons of wandering those woods, tormented by fear and unkind phantasms, the witch was impressed by her determination and agreed to take her under her wing.

Many more moons passed for Eridanus, time spent under the tutelage of the witch, but she felt that she had a great affinity for the magic, and though her claws were unwieldy at times, she learned how to control them better and thus wield her skills with the right kind of precision and grace that she wanted. Pleased with her progress, the Skydancer bid farewell to her mentor, feeling like she was ready to bring great beauty to the world.

Eridanus got to her work immediately, offering her services to dragons that felt like they needed a change - she would help them with her magic, turning even the most bland of tundras into a wonderful and radiant coatl. While there was plenty of interest in her skills, her personality could be off-putting at times, for she did not hold back her sharp tongue from criticizing what she found displeasing to her tastes. It made finding a new clan difficult ... until she met Shandora. Seeing the Guardian, simple yet radiant as she was, with little to no decoration on her body, the Skydancer was quick to offer her solutions - and was baffled when Shandora refused her with the tenderness of a lamb, claiming that she felt happy and beautiful as she was. Eridanus did not want to give up easily, her mind's eye already imagining the wonderful illusions she could weave around the Guardian, perhaps even becoming the most beautiful thing she could ever create - her Magnum Opus. She followed Shan back to her lair and accepted to be hosted by her clan, hoping that she would ingratiate herself to the Wyrmhearts to finally reach her goal.

Four years later, Eridanus has become a valuable member of the clan, having since long abandoned her ambition to change the Guardian, instead taking to beautifying the family and home that she had found in her wake. Although she has learned to temper her tongue and try to be kinder with her observations towards her fellow dragons, she is no less a perfectionist - always driven to create only the most beautiful things that Sornieth would ever see. In the day-to-day life, Eridanus helps discern the value of objects in their hoard with an appraising eye, helping Malygos in his mercantile endeavors and occasionally being tricked into his not-so-honest schemes.

Outside of that, she teaches magic to dragons that are interested and willing to work for it - from the many failed apprenticeships, Yseros was the only one to persevere under her strict yet skilled tutelage. She is proud to consider him her protege, and often gets in arguments with those that dare to criticize him - for they are indirectly disrespecting her, and that is a thing that she will not abide. Eridanus had many passion-fueled flings in her past, but recently she has been courted by Xavius and eventually fell for his clumsy, yet genuine affections. They are waiting to celebrate their union with a spring festivity - one that Eridanus is working tirelessly to make perfect.
