He's a war veteran that shows off his battle scars with pride, earning an honorable reputation among his clanmates. Zeeks will fight to the death defending the ones he loves, and has a secret interest in butterflies.
he used to live in a hierarchal wildclaw clan with eris. he was a respectable warrior fighting up the ranks, while she was a lower-ranked artist. even still, eris' art was beautiful, and she painted murals for each of ezekiel's victories.
eventually, ezekiel left to arcane territory as a veteran, and eris came with him. they became mates and still love eachother dearly.

Ezekiel gazed upon the mural in awe. The painting covered practically the entire wall, depicting his latest victory against the clan's third-in-command. The piece was of Ezekiel and his opponent in the gladiator ring with his foot planted on the bruised and bloody third-in command's chest. Ezekiel's wings were flared as he roared in victory, spectators cheering all around. It was already his new favorite piece of art of the dozens decorating his den. Taking his place in yet another endeavor to climb the social hierarchy always came with its own rewards- and risks, Ezekiel remembered, rubbing at his now-bandaged arm that was surely bound to leave a scar.
"So.. you made this entire thing?"
"Y-yes..?" The wildclaw behind him stuttered.
A lower ranking artist from the looks of her, Ezekiel assumed, though he'd never seen her before. Not like he really paid too much attention to those below him, but still. He forced himself to look away from the artwork after gazing speechlessly at each beautiful, intricate detail.
"Y-yes..?" The wildclaw behind him stuttered.
"I won this fight yesterday. That sure was fast." Ezekiel turned to face her fully. "It's a masterpiece."
The artist beamed with joy, unable to contain her excitement, giving the warrior a big smile that he found to be helplessly contagious. After bouncing about merrily for a minute, she suddenly stopped and her smile from only a few seconds ago was wiped off her face.
"What?" Ezekiel demanded.
"I just realized. What if the hierarchy changes again and the mural will have to be torn down?" The wildclaw muttered. "I-I mean, don't take it the wrong way, I'm not saying that-that you're gonna, like-"
Ezekiel huffed in faint amusement as the artist realized her mistake.

"Hey, chill out." He flared his wings dramatically. "I literally just became the third-in-command. Plus, you made me look so handsome in your art, so there's NO way I'll let some loser beat me anytime soon." He paused for a moment. "Oh, what's your name?"
And with that, the artist's award-winning smile was back on her face.
"Eris!! Uh, I mean. My name's Eris."
Ezekiel grinned at the lower-ranked wildclaw. No, at Eris. Seeing her so happy, he couldn't help but feel like he could do anything in the world- absolutely anything at all to see her smile again and again.aavikko wrote on 2022-12-06 21:40:22:
To start, Ezekiel. My love for wildclaws makes me a little biased, but I really like how regal he looks. The victor's set looks so good on him, I especially like how the colours match the antique thylacine he has. Good luck getting a darkened eye scar, those go for quite a lot!
I love his lore at the bottom, especially that he secretly likes butterflies. That, combined with the cute story about Eris, made me really like him! (By the way, she's cute too, I love her outfit)
