Jashin is a wicked goddess and worshipped by the Jashinists. She demands death and destruction, feeding on fear and pain of dying people. Killing an opponent is the solemn reason of fighting and the main course one should strife for in life, while all victims should be slain in her name.
Her follower, the Jashinists, are killing in her name and aiming to be picked as her disciple. However, the only disciple she ever picked was Hidan, blessing him with immortality to make him able to kill even more efficient. Hidan showed exactly the type of character Jashin prefers: he kills without scruple, he does not share any bonds to other living people, he is faithful to her and devotes his whole life to serving the goddess. Character: ❖ - evil - ❖ ❖ - sadistic - ❖ ❖ - cold - ❖ ❖ - jealous - ❖ Jashin has no preference in age or gender of her sacrifices, although some Jashinists belief it to be young girls. Her teachings include certain Jujutsu, making it possible to share a link to the Jashinist's victim by drinking it's blood. With this, each wound the Jashinist is inflicted is shared with the linked victim. This link is only active as long as the Jashinist is standing on Jashin's symbol, and upside-down triangle. While her disciple is able to kill with this technique, since Hidan is able to survive fatal wounds due to his immortality, other Jashinists use puppets that they link to their victim and inflict the fatal wounds on the puppet. |
